Episode 161

Turn the Other Cheek

This is war, Khushi says. She tries to explain to her family that this is a war between the Gupta's of Lucknow and the Raizada's of Delhi. Not just a ceremony or custom or practice but a real fledged war! They will not be defeated or put to shame; they will win! Buaji then finds the tear in the women are chair and Payal stutters and sputters.

At RM Anjali and Nani and Mami are discussing the plans for Sangeet. Madhu has left them for someone else because they changed her steps but Nani says she will teach them. Mami will not dance, Nani says because she doesn't know how. Cute interaction.

Kushi enters the house talking to NK about a competition and she hears a buzzing. She stops looking around. She looks up and tries to catch the mosquito, one side CLAP, the other side CLAP. NK following her thinking she is showing him a dance step. She asks him what he is doing and he grabs her hand, meanwhile Arnav is walking down the stairs on the phone via Bluetooth, he stops and sees NK holding Khushi wrist. Looks perturbed. NK grabs Khushi and runs with her. He watches unhappily and then continues his conversation. NK pulls Khushi to the pool area and she is going crazy with a mosquito. Nk says he has repellant and he goes to get it.

Arnav comes and sees her in her clapping "dance". He asks her what is she doing? She looks at him wide eyed, "SHhh." Her finger on her lips she murmurs =quietly to him, "Don't move, be quiet," as she is staring at his cheek. She winds back her arm and in the next move she slaps his cheek, trying to kill the mosquito, which by the way she missed. Eyes wide but now for a different reason while his widen and then narrow. Anger flaring. She is stuttering trying to explain why she slapped him; Nk joins them and she tries to explain that she has slapped him because she was after the mosquito. She didn't do it intentionally.

Listen, do you hear it? SHUT UP he says to her. NK says to Nanav it's ok because if the mosquito bit him he could have gotten something that was not even close to malaria. Khushi corrects NK. Arnav tells NK to stay out of it with gritted teeth. And he tells her, with emphasis on one word at a time, to" go. Away. From. Here. I said GET OUT!!!" He screams at her.

She runs out with NK and down the steps to the living area where the family is. Anjali asks why she is running is someone hounding her? She denies it. Mami sees Nk's mosquito repellant. Anjali asks Khushi what she wanted to tell them about the musical program. Khushi tells them about a competition between the families. Everyone agrees that a competition would be fun and exciting and in comes Arnav and says there will be no competition he hates loud music and noise. He says he won't come if it is held outside. NK has nerve and says ok so don't come. Khushi shakes her head at NK. Akash answers if his brother doesn't want it then so be it. Stupid Akash! ASR says thanks to his brother who always does what he wants.

Anjali asks Nani why is he refusing to have it now when we have had music at her wedding, and Akash's engagement. Why now? What has happened? Kushi stands there listening and she knows why he is this way and what she must do. She can't let him "(ex)terminate" the Sangeet.

She hesitantly nocks on his door and he turns and sees her, turning back. She says she wants to talk to him and he answers he doesn't want to talk to her and she should leave. Just watching his back as he is putting on his tie is quite sexy. Ladies, I am sure you noticed! She answers softly she is already outside and with tears in her eyes she asks him if he is upset because she slapped him? He turns around at looks at her. Those tears in her eyes melt his stone cold eyes. I just love watching that change. He goes to her and says her name, "Khushi." She says she didn't mean it and she didn't know how the mosquito landed on him. He tells her its okay and to stop crying. She asks him to forgive her and he shakes his head yes. Awww!!! She smiles, happy that he forgives her, so she asks him if they can have the music event. His answer a resounding, "What?" She tells him he was mad at her so that is why he called off the Sangeet but now can they have it? He asks her if she was acting and she answers no. He gets angry again by her antics. She knows this. She tells him she is asking for forgiveness twice for before and the antics now. He tells her to go. She blesses herself and asks DM to be with her for she has the answer and tells him because she slapped him, he should reciprocate with a slap to her. She turns her cheek to him bracing herself for his slap.

He folds his arms and stares at this Sanka Devi who has her eyes shut tight.

Waiting for her slap for she turned the other cheek so he can have his revenge.

The Delhi trip that Indi took last month brought in the auto rickshaw discussion and with it came the yellow-green saree. This saree seems to have made its stay permanent here. The said saree has been sighted regularly in discussions ever since. It has also been spotted making appearances regularly in Indi's stories. Last heard, it was held by a coma recovering patient, after which the scene froze then and there. Readers to this story are waiting with bated breath for the ice to melt down and the scene to continue.

When BFTP thread #15 was started, a bet was asked to be made on the matter of the teri-meri episode making its appearance on the thread or otherwise. The blasters unanimously declared that this was not possible. They said that the hot episode would be arriving in the sweet sixteenth thread and to make this possible, some blasters resorted to spamming the thread for some time. It was also hoped that Anita who had a considerable backlog too would contribute in the form of her marathon reviews.

Meanwhile, many blasters started making lesser appearances due to ad and the ongoing Ramadan celebrations. With the peak episodes of the show coming up and many blasters missing from the thread, it was decided that a 2nd breather would be taken for a period of one week. This would enable most of the blasters to be present when the girl in green and the boy in black do their tango. As this important dance segment was coming up, it was decided that everybody would be practising their dance steps too. Thus, an extension to the thread #15 was created and named 'The practice'. It is hereby announced that this title is not to be confused with the show based on lawyers. The practice talked about here is completely different and is said to bring the utmost joy, excitement and exhilaration at the highest level. At the time of reporting, Anita has returned and has already started dishing out reviews at the highest speed level possible.

We are happy to announce that the IF IPK 2nd Anniversary thread continues to gallop on owing to the continuous spamming of fans. Our young blaster, Saloni, too is contributing towards the same. Requests for links of the same are not being made anymore with the fear that they may recieve ship loads of them now, instead of truck loads. The thread has now crossed 3700 pages and reached almost 30000 comments.

Buaji's love of her red wedding dress was too much to handle for Khushi.Khushi's frightened face was visible to her Amma and Payal but Buaji was adamant to make her wear this outdated ,triple sized slim dress.Khushi mocks her with her NandKishore and Buaji goes after her for that.The love and laughter of this family brings some hopes for everyone.

Next day Guptas ladies were deciding gifts for Raizadas.Gifts were selected for everyone but Arnav.Khushi gets irritated with his name but get scolded by Buaji.She asks Khushi's idea and suggestion and Khushi comes up with "Fire Extinguisher" which can put off fire by "fuch fuch"'..as he always sits on Fire and remains angry so this will help him.Payal's new relations makes her annoyed by Khushis ideas and ill thinking of her "Jaithji"'.Buaji teases Payal, Amma says yes to her thinking as they are her family from now on,and Khushi wants her Jiji to be her Jiji for the rest of her life.These relations are changing with so many names yet keeping the essence.All this makes Payal emotional along with others which gives another reason to Khushi to scold at Buaji while wiping her tears.

Khushi tries to alleviate Payal's pain and her delimma that she will remain her sister no matter what.She tells her to think about Akashji and how will she spend the whole life with him.Her brain is over working to get the idea out of it which can make it possible for Payal and Akash to see each other at 12:00 P:m. hmmm'Is she doing it so she can see her LG too In her subconscious.

She made Jalaibis in her anxiety as Arnav's words are haunting her and Cinderella has to meet her prince by the clock strikes at 12'so she is ready to distribute her happiness with extra Jalaibis to her neighbors so she can stay home peacefully seeing her Rajkumar without disturbace.They both know each other's intentions and unsaid feelings.

Shyam the great Scorpion is coming out in full warm shape now.His next plan is getting rid off Rani Sahiba so he had the access to the money and Khushi.He is doing his slouchy games with Anjali over the poolside.He showed her love by grabbing her in his arms that her weakness is not having any meaning when he is around to dance with her.So Madhu can chill out.His slimy,slithery and slouchy games are webbing his innocent prey and he knows how to use each one of these skills to grab what he wants just like he grabs Anjali before suitcase hits her to gain her trust for his moves so no one will suspect him.[It's me or his voice has been dubbed by someone]Despicable and malevolence acts will be failed by Devi Maiya'.

The amazing part which is my grabber when Anjali tells Akash about her New year's eve plans ,Shyam not only provokes him to meet Payal but also mentions how he used to see Rani Sahiba before marriage through house pipes'.and my mind goes to Harry Potter ,"chamber of secrets"'does he belong to house of Slithren 'He just wants the whole house empty so he can fulfill his plan'😆

OK serious note it seems to me again his past wasn't explored well enough just like Khushi.Why and how his marriage happened to Anjali is still a question to me'because what ever we saw is not settling with me.

IPK ended incomplete for sure.

If Payal is anxious to see Akash same is Akash.He is pacing back and forth to get jet machine to see her ,while NK is rocking his rockets in a chips bag to damage the eardrum of the Brave heart who is always pinning his laptop down.😆 All hail to the brave men of Raizads who call themselves MEN.Of course one of em, our brave heart has all the superficial qualities to make it happen for Akash to talk to a lady of Nandkishore while Akash ,the lame excused one couldn't open his mouth and will not open in future either.The rocket chips guy just too good to nothing, yet always remains a reason to bring brave heart and his heartbeat together just like now ,he called Khushi yet ended up monitoring Arnav and Khushi 's nok jhonk.The lame excused one got what he wanted '.a nice chat with Payal over Titans fight.

The rattling sound of chips made Arnav to flee from the vicinity of these two special people.Payal's sadness provoking Akash to see her at 12 but how as Naniji and Buaji forbided them so.He has no back bone and indeed a Mama's boy'..

So Rocket chips guy with the lame excused one just don't want brave heart to breath calmly .They followed him to the poolside while making plans how to see Payal'.from throwing stones to using crackers'.till Harward brain gives him the idea to go straight and wish all of them including Payal.But Rocket chips called it boring and unromantic idea ever.

He thinks it's good to have some ideas from Khushi which ticks Arnav to leave.Lame excused say yes to Chips guy instead of his Brave heart.😆

I also have the same thought and i mentioned in my take too. That's why he jumped to intervene to omit the idea.

NK calls Khushi while she was busy munching on Peas and thinking of Arnav's words.She does not want to see him yet want to feel him at 12.NK some how grabs some wrong cues from Khushi and is busy planning meeting Khushi at 12 but how can he ,he has to go with Akash the lame guy.

Symbolisms and connection : Peas symbolize blissful and delicate pleasure , saying bye bye to bad time and Welcoming with Thank you for a lovely time.

Connection is amazing as Khushi is going to bid bye her bad time with the warm welcome of Arnav's heart though forced marriage will shatter some dreams yet the destiny Is going to fulfill its promise and the same is with Arnav as he will cherish Moments spending with Khushi which will help him heal his past wounds.

NK shows jet lags and his "parvat" [mountain] nature is making Arnav and Akash annoyed by him.

Symbolism and connection:Parvat is a masculine name and dominenece and samman meaning respect ,as it will show the masculine powers of these three to go and visit one house in one night to see the gals besides Buaji and Naji curfew rules to intact some male respect and dominance.

He's hiding behind the curtains, under the table taking Buaji's punishment holding her weight on his hand .. Ouch' the man did everything to be with his girl on new years eve. Payal's message with wrong hand or right one did massage him sensuously.Lovely and cute scene.He asks her to go out with her shy after all he suffered a lot for reaching her. He threw the milk in the pool but before that Khushi was trying to tell him the time of his meeting in Sharade @ 12 but that was Noon [Half day has been passed]and here it is night...[New day has emerged]...

That day.. By 122-123 when she comes after bandagement , half ritual is done...and today new transformation as they are joining clock hands with new day and they will be one and married as one because day has reached to its end and last ritual needs to be done.👏
