This was awesome...

I really loved ur analysis of the " First fall" and the " Mere saase hi ruk jayenge" scenes...

Can't wait for the next one...

Loved all the mamiji talk. And agree with u both. Ipoona, reading that piece of urs enlisting all mamiji's undoings, i felt as if all my disappointments with her have finally found a way out! Loved it.
But yeah, she was just meant for entertainment but NOTHING else. As much as i beleve ASR and khushi are for real and are still there some where living happily ever after, i do accept mamiji is just fictional!!

Awesome analysis, Redwine.

Two points stood out for me:

1. When Khushi rejects Arnav's offer of help it lights his fuse: And we see that again, spectacularly during the run-up to Payash's wedding when Khushi tries to fish the bangles out of the pool. Arnav helps her and Khushi is an ingrate, saying words to the effect that - you didn't need to. Hum khud kar sakte hain. And he lets the bangle go, letting it drop into the water and splash Khushi in the face. Then comes "Tum theek ho". And then he makes her pay, delightfully, first by grabbing her hand underwater, and then with the shart.

2. Saansein Ruk Jaayengi: Brings to mind the one other time that he lets go her hand - at the airport where he forcibly disentangles her fingers from his, and she says that it matters because "Kyunki yeh aap hai...hamaari saansein hi..."
