You know a few words/ expressions come out good in a few languages. Like I love the word "Maunam" in telugu such an apt word you chose as theme here (I wrote some thing similar that time after the epi, not in Telugu tho), there are a few that sound good in Hindi, some in Urdu.. like Khamoshi even sannata sounds so good in Hindi but their counterparts of vernacular Telugu not as much, and there are many in Urdu!I can understand your ambiguity in attempting this one becos of the depth of the scenes (the very reason that keeps me away from writing as anything less wouldn't satisfy me!) but you are a writer after all and it did come out very well. I am glad you finally decided to write.
I agree. Some words sound very good in some languages. You know, when I thought of maunam, I immediately recalled the song 'Mauna melanoyi' from Sagara Sangamam. That is such a beautiful happy song. It suits Arshi consummation scene also so well, isn't it?
Thanks Horizon, for liking the poem so much. It gives me encouragement to write even better. And I think I have improved from my last Telugu poem. I guess this time gap has worked. 😊
