Apologies, first up! This post is no way related to IPK but borne out of watching IPK. This post is the result of the questions that popped up in my mind while I was religiously watching IPK, call it the teenager's curiosity or whatever you want!

In all of the 19 years I walked on this planet, I have been taught rather it has been drilled into me: Falling in love is a big mistake. Don't fall in its snare!!!

I always being my parents' pet, never dared to do so rather, never had the opportunity nor the time for falling in love. It can be partially attributed to the fact that I studied in a girls only and always looked at the other sex with wariness.I used to and still snigger when I hear about love letters and people being madly in love.

But after watching IPK, I was forced to reconsider my cynical view of this mostly hyped and misunderstood "love". Questions plagued my mind and for that I had no answers nor anyone to answer.

Does love as in IPK exist in real life?

Does every person in this planet has another person perfect for his/her? If so, do they get to know each other in this lifetime itself?

Does there exist a person whose mere presence makes your heartbeat stop n run at the same time?

Does people who are in love , fall out of love after sometime? (my relatives believed this)

Is this love a really wonderful feeling, as many say?

To tell that I was confused would be an understatement coz these questions threatened to shake the very foundations of the beliefs that I were taught from childhood.

I have seen many families where love doesn't exist but the parents are still married for the sake of their children. I think in most arranged marriages, people fall in love in due course of time or are forced to do so or do they ever fall in love.But, is there a platinum day of love for every arranged marriage? Does that make arranged marriages wrong? Are the beliefs that I were taught all wrong?

I am all at sea and that is why I thought of posting it here. At least I could give vent to my frustrations!!!😊

I would be pleased if someone can drive away the confusing demons in my mind!😛

Ipk changes my outlook towadrds love too..but it is just that we r not as lucky as kushi to get an "arnav"in the present world..

OMGGG!!!!!!!! Even I thought the same...

I-luv-arshi and barunodaya...are truely as crazy as me...

even i thought of any similar love stories , whether they really exist or not...and i came to a conclusion that not everyone in this world are really lucky enough to get an ASR...I mean ARNAV...

U know what..it is my feeling also.but..i knw,everyone isnt lucky..as everyone doesnt get his/her mr. Or miss perfect for him/her like Arnav Or Khushi..bt everyone has different story.who knows if anyone can has that love in life like ARSHI...

I too study at a girls university..

My parents too has forbidden me to talk or intereact wit d opposite sex..

Beleive me wen i say i m 21 n nt even talked to a male 😆

at d end i beleive that everything good vl come out of it..bcz our parents always say for our benefits only...n wen v listen to dem v r d one beneficted...

Like other girls i too wish for lots of rabbave moments after i m married..for that i pray to my almighty lord..for d best for me.. 😳

for d dhak dhak i guess it happens...havent experienced it myself though...

Falling out of love depends on both d ppl...if dey arent as interested as dey wer bfr ,marriages relationship fall apart...

N even if ppl r tied in arrange marriage n both of dem wants to keep d love alive...they r still in love till old age...

It depends on diffrnt ppl n der way of thinking...

Even I was confused .. But ipkknd taught me wat LOVE is !!! especially khushi's character... Can anyone love someone unconditionally even after knowing that person has hurt her the most.. ?! *confused* can anyone be as selfless as khushi ?! I genuinely dn't think so.. I love khushi somemore than arnav !!!

What a nice post. ... Yes absolutely... One should fall in love madly atleast once in one's life time. If it doesn't work then it doesn't... Mistakes build character. At the end of the day you will be fine. That's what I tell my 9 yr old daughter.

Couple of things...

There is no PERFECT person MADE for each other... Both arnav and khushi have their flaws.

Khushi is a stong person...she would've survived and moved on in case ASR refused her ( he did during dewali and she was able to brush off and move on)

Arnav was not abusive as it seemed like in the beginning... He just didnt know how to react when people mentioned his parents ...he slapped them or hurled abuse at them etc. but at heart he was a good person.

Things that are NO NO

Guys who are into drugs, alcohol, physical abuse, anger issues and liars ( dots don't connect when they talk)

YES YES

Guys who are honest ( can be poor, unsophisticated, rough.. doesnt matter) , respects your views ( you will have different background, political, religious views... But he doesn't force his on yours like Arnav) and most importantly You like Talking to him ( conversation is everything... Root for understanding each other, the ArShi fights are actually their way of conversing...they enjoyed those fights and they needed that to build TRUST) .

Most important... Give TIME... Over time you will realize whether a guy is for you or not. Look how patiently Arnav waited for khushi.. He never forced himself on her .

Good luck... Yes ... Dhak Dhak and all that will happen!

I dont above love shove, but this is there for sure, you heartbeats does rise when the person you like is somewhere near you, even by thinking about him you heart beats fast, my personal experience 😉
