CHAPTER 1!!
"hola guys" khushi said as she plunked her stuff onto the table
"oh look whos here! Miss khushi malothra!!" aakash announced loudly to the group
"what wrong?" khushi asked as she sipped her drink
"well when was the last time you came with us for lunch? Eh?" Asked payal.
"Well acutually'. You know the magazine club'.. " khushi tried to explain
"guys comeon why you irritating her shes a busy ggirl the magazine commtitte cant do anything with out her right?" lavanya asked khushi with a "sweet" smile only to recive a really dirty frown from khushi
"does anyone want a drink?" deeps asked desperate to change the topic she did not want any more cat fight between la and khushi anyways'.
"me!! Please deeps that practice was too tiring !!" said arnav as he walked in
"oh hallo arnav" la exclaimed.
someones eyes were rolling continuously''
"hallo everybody!! Sup?" he asked as he pushed khushi to the side taking up her place
"arnav why don't you get up and find a chair?? " khushi asked angrily
"oh god!!" chill!! Whats wrong with you?" asked arnav as he dragged up a chair and settled in'..
>awkward silence< it had been a looong time since they all had met up for lunch together'. After high school they had promised to meet up atleast once a day' but here each one was busy with their own subject and work hardly finding time for friends'.
"well'" la broke the silence' "you guys know that the prom nights up next week I have been damn busy setting it up'. You guys are coming rite?"
"obviously " aakash replied " me and payal sre even going shopping today'"
"what for contrasting clothes?? " arnav asked surprised!! "you guys have taken dating to the next level seriously'.."
"well'' atleast they have partners'." Deeps said with a pout'
"oooh!! Don't worry deeps ill find you a really handsome boy!!" la exclaimed!
"you know loads of guys asked me out but I just denied! I want to go eith someone special'." La announced loudly eyeing arnav' "well arn-" she was interrupted by a fit of artificial coughing from khushi
"are you alright? " arnav looked at her giving a deaf ear to la much to her disappointment
"I am alright'. Just to sickening here'." She said with another bout of cough'
Leaving aakash payal and deeps searching for cover to control their laughter'.
"Imma hungry lets have lunch!!" payal exclaimed as she calles the waiter
Soon they were all filling up their tummies with food and recalling old times when they always sat together eating lunch
"yeah your mom used to make yummy food khushi'!" arnav said
"that's how I used to go back home hungry everyday all of you used to steal off my lunch" khushi said accusingly
"oh come on now" payal said as they paid their bills and made their way out'
"nice lunch here na?" she asked the rest' no one was in a mood to deny though la looked a bit sulky and mysteriously refused to go near khushi'.. these two can never be good friends payal thought
"K bye gotta go!!" aakash and payal said as they got into their cars la left without a bye no one seemed to complain deeps left quite soon too leaving khushi alone with arnav'
"you going ?" arnav asked
"well the cars not yet here' ill call up dad.. you need not wait you go'." She replied
"who said I was waiting for you eh?" he asked with a slight smile
"you''" she she started as she banged her handbag on him "meanie meanie meanie'." She said
" its ok get into the car ill drop you'." He said as he pulled her to the car
Meanwhile on the drive back to khushi's house'
"you coming to di's anniversary today right? Di called you personally!" arnav asked her
" I dunno' I might not.." khushi said thoughtfully
"oh no!! please' all those boring stuff I cant go through all of them alone'. These anniversaries and all they are too boring you must come or else' " he started off
"oh please!" khushi replied "you might as well learn to go to such parties'. When you are married do you expect me to come and stand with you for your anniversary? Your wife will blast off!!" she giggled
" no you gotta come to my anniversary'.. don't care what my wife will tell'" he replied " that's if I marry'" he replied
"why wont you I mean so many people behind you la just made it clear today" she replied rolling her eyes'.
" naw' too boooring all that'. I'd marry you instead of all those money crazy people'" he said laughing'.
" but I'd never'" khushi laughed as she got down'
"buh bye!! " "see ya tonight you better come or else''."
"whatever bye!!" she kissed him bye and went into her house happily'.
i know verryy short post and a bad one i guess just for that ill get the next one sooner and bigger the next ones gonna be reaal interesting... 😃
