ASR's rage knows no bound today. Khushi Kumari Gupta was intruding too much his personal life.

ASR was in the phone with Khushi. He was indignant,"yes it's me, will you cut my call?" Khushi started acting delirious, as her parents were listening," how are you?" ASR even more outraged now"stop nonsense,how do you dare to change La's perception for marriage?" Khushi was pretending that she was talking to La,"I'll teach you all the marriage rituals tomorrow".She cut the call. ASR was terribly frantic now.He called her back. this time she disconnected the phone line, but picked the phone as if she received the call. Khushi and her nautanki always go side by side.😆

Khushi wanted to pay back Shyam the money what he spent for her Amma-bauji's travelling ticket. But Shyam denied to accept the money,"you say I'm your own,but you are disowning me by paying me back." Shabby fellow!😡 Khushi didn't want to be obliged by him.Good Khushi. 👏 But she couldn't force him to take money also. He said I'll ask you something someday in return. Gosh I got scared for a moment what he will ask? When Khushi got nervous to hear his request, he assured her,"a cup of tea with you." Khushi got enamored by his melliferous words.Manipulating sick guy!😡

When ASR entered his cabin with his clients, he saw La was standing their with lunch box,"I got lunch for you, what I made by myself" She started calling him "aap"since she changed her avatar.😆 ASR's clients thought he got married. they addressed La as Mrs. ASR, what sure made La happy. But Mr. Hot Akhroo didn't like it at all. La rectified."not yet Mrs. ASR, but I'll be soon." ASR was fuming,"you go to home and take the lunch box with you.will talk later."I think La was feeling so elated of thinking herself as Mrs. ASR. That's why she was following Khushi's instruction so blindly

Khushi and Payal were so happy to get their parents after a while.They were enjoying their precious moments with their mom. They were fighting to get their mom's attention. In this case I admire Garimaji a lot.She is not even their real mother, but there is no lack of her motherly love for them. Buaji was teasing. She started to complain against Khushi."you have no idea, what mess Khushi did here." Khushi got nervous. Buaji continued" it gonna take a whole day if I start, so you tell some of yours and I'll tell some of mine." Khushi's dad looked a little pensive, what didn't go unnoticed by Khushi. Khushi acts like a child, but actually she is a very mature and sensitive girl. And mostly she always thinks of everybody's happiness.

La was standing in ASR's room,with a towel and his night suit in her hand.She was trying to act like a patibrata patni (a dutiful wife). ASR was fuming,"since morning I've been noticing, you are behaving weird, you dressed like that Khushi Kumari Gupta, got tea for me in the morning, proposed me for marriage. you know I don't believe in marriage, then how dare you? He hollered,"answer me." he resumed,"I told you be anything, but don't be like Khushi Kumari Gupta. enough of this drama and I don't want to hear anything regarding marriage." (pause: why you have so much problem with KKG? Why can't you ignore? .The reason is you are scared of your feelings for Khushi. you want to evade from your feelings.) La admonished,"what is the problem to get married. We are living together then why you are not willing to give our relationship a name?" ASR was nonchalant,"I don't want to talk about this topic any more." La got upset and left his room. ASR was muttering in anger,"this is all your fault,KKG, I'm not gonna spare you for this mistake."

Khushi's dad was very depressed. Khushi also noticed his anxiety. So she came to console him. He apologized to Khushi for not able to contribute to the family and appreciated her for supporting the family. Khushi got emotional,"So what if I'm not your own blood, but I consider all of you as my very own.If I don't do for you, then who will? we will earn altogether and repay our loan." She sarcastically said,"now don't tell me Khushi can do anything, praise me in some other way." Sometime I get surprised to see her sensibility. There was baichaini (helplessness) in Sashi Gupta's eyes. Khushi tried to console him more,"We are earning a little and enjoying our life too.Or Shyamji also there for us. He helped us a lot." (no Khushi I defy you here. By the way what Shyam did for you? He didn't even help buaji to get her pension!) Khushi's dad keenly observed her,he wanted to find her real feelings for Shyam I guess."now we are living altogether."she hugged her Dad.

Nani and Anjali was discussing to get some stuff from the market of old Delhi. Mr.sexy Akhroo appeared in the dining area with a grumpy face.He was looking extra delicious. Gosh I don't need any food if he sits in front of me.😳 Anjali asked what he thinks of getting married La. ASR admonished,"you know I don't believe in marriage." she tried to make him understand. When she brought their parent's reference, he antagonized her,"I don't want to talk about this." La appeared with her Biwi avatar again "Arnavji apki coffee." I thought after ASR's acrimony she would give up, but she didn't. I was laughing everytime she called her aap or Arnavji. How cum La is so dumb."mathay puro gobor."(her brain is full of cow dung). It's for Indi and Anita.I don't know, do we have any more Bengalis here? ASR was determined,"my perspective for marriage will remain same and will never change by anybody's influence." He indicated Khushi this time. But Mr. delicious don't be so overconfident.God must be guffawed at you."not once but you will marry the same girl twice and it is no other than but your worst enemy KKG." He told Anjali that he will remain at home for the rest of the day, as he gotta headache. He actually didn't want to miss the chance to get Khushi."badla pura karni hai"😈 It's revenge time.

Shaitan ke bare mein socha to shaitan hazeeer.😆 Khushi is the shaitan here.As long as she entered RM she saw laad Governor, what reminded her the phone convo with him. She thought to evade him. Arnav tried to speak to her,but She escaped with La without even giving him a chance to continue. ASR got frantic again.

In the kitchen La was telling Khushi how Arnav was mad. Khsuhi mentioned him Laad Governor and Anjalli intervened,"Laad Governor!" Khushi turned and changed the topic, "nothing" La left to receive a phone call. Khushi asked Anjali," you wanted to go some where?" ASR was right behind her. He answered "no" .Khushi got terrified to hear his voice, she turned to him. ASR started ,"what makes you cut my call?"He is moving towards Khushi and she was moving back,"you think only you have the right to talk." Khushi got so scared that she dropped the flour container what she was holding. The container popped open and some flour splattered on him.He was infuriated so much as if will burst any moment. Mami rushed to the kitchen hearing the sound I guess, "why are you in the kitchen Arnav bituwa?"She was suspicious,"taking class of phati saree?"she mocked him,"cooking class?" I must say mami is smart. She suspected something between Arnav and Khushi. As mami intervened Arnav couldn't get his revenge done. He moved to leave, but glared back to her as if he wanted to say,"I'm not done with you yet."Khushi thanked Mamiji. As usual mami showed her attitude.😒

Buaji was pressurizing Garimaji and Sashji for Khushi's marriage of course with that shabbly fellow. Garimaji was confused, she wanted Payal to get married first. But Buaji was so engrossed by shyam that couldn't think any thing else.She was trying to justify her opinion,"Payal is such a homely girl that she will get married soon. But Khushi is so naughty and restless that, she should get married first." She metaphorically called her bizli ka tar(electric wire) who needs a wire to connect with. I think she was concern for her as Khushi was unpredictable and a bit childish too.She suggested Shyam as the groom. Garimaji and Sashiji both looked nonchalant. They couldn't agree her proposal I guess.

Khushi and La were tensed, they were munching chanas to release their stress.La admonished Khushi to stay away from ASR. Coz she also understood the fact that ASR was mad at Khushi. Khushi tried to console herself that she was not scared. Yeah I'm sure Khushi was not scared. It was nothing new for her.

La's table lamp's bulb got fused. She looked worried, as she didn't know to change a bulb. Khushi asked her how cum she doesn't know to change a bulb!.By the way La was in UK. She must know how to change a bulb. Coz the people live abroad don't have JP,OP handy to work for them. Here we have to do all our work by ourselves. Anyway, let's ignore it.They showed La as a brainless dumb, so it's natural. Khushi told La that she will get the bulb and teach her how to change it. She gotta chance to go out from RM to avoid LG.She muttered,"it's better to stay away from LG."

ASR was coming, talking with his employee on the phone.He saw Khushi was sneak peeking to the hall. He cut the call immediately. Right now nothing is important than teach Khushi a lesson.😆 He appeared right in front of her,"don't try to move a bit." Khushi's dimaag is on full swing now. She pretended that her head was spinning. Laad Governor got worried for her."Khushi!" he repeated three times.he was really concerned. lagraha hai gussa chala gaya, aur pyaar gussa ki jaga leliya.😆 Khushi continued her drama,"I need some water".ASR screamed "JP".Khushi asked him to get water for her. He got a little annoyed but rushed to get water for her. Khushi checked him with one eye and fled from there without wasting any time.

Arnav rushed back with a glass of water, but no avail, she was already gone.But her dupatta was stuck with the entrance door. Arnav noticed it too. Khushi opened the door again got her dupatta and closed the door. Arnav witnessed it grimly. He threw the glass in anger.

Tom and Jerry's fight is on full swing.

I think this VM will be just appropriate to dedicate this Tom and Jerry.

he could never not turn and look at her, and she could never say no to that look of his, no matter what their lips said later. her little ploy to get him to agree to marry la had not gone down well with him. he was shocked at la's words. he didn't believe in marriage, certainly not in these strange assertions from a girl that did even stranger things to his mind and more.

This low aukat gal has done the damage

my mother says that the one with whom the thread of tie is joined, if a veil falls upon you from his hand, then no one can stop that thread from becoming the tie of marriage (a very literal translation, nowhere near as pretty or colourful as the original).

he of course, did what he would do, took the chunari, bright, pink, beckoning, full of its desire of love and threw it away unceremoniously. heartless man, uff. but bending every rule of physics, the determined dupatta - you know how dupattas have a certain will and mind of their own in ipk, instead of flying carpets in this ajeeb tale it's them flying and flirting dupattas - flew and landed on the head of its choice. the veil had something to say to two people completely unprepared for this revelation.

PURE FACTS ipk and Dupatta has their own minds

he looked into her eyes, he was caught in a breathless moment... as was she... she took her chunari off her head, but it was as though the colour of that moment wouldn't leave him... her.

and then he broke the spell with all his might... turned away, and continued on his way. she stood there wondering, dumbfounded... she had a belief. a vishwaas.

did that call him? for he paused again, and turned around... another long moment on the edge of time.

he again made the first move to walk away. but before that many songs, poems, epistles of pining and unknown yearning had been written through silences and the slightest movements of irises, a magical tune, and the lyrics of mellifluous editing.

YOU CAN WRITE A HISTORY PIECE ON THIS SCENE

when lavanya came and found her, she reached for the laughing pink chunari in khushi's hands. and just for a moment as the silken fabric slipped away, it looked as though khushi struggled, not wanting to let go.

IT WAS HARD FOR HER TO LET GO OF HER FAITH

a strange moment, isn't it? the monster, the laad gov, the rakshas, the magar machh, the man who left you in a dark alley and drove away, the man who snapped your pearl dori, the man who made fun of your aukat, the man who never missed a chance to be rude to you, the man who kept making innuendos about "tum jaisi ladki," a chunari from his hands covers you and makes a claim, and you are not offended, upset, agitated... just bemused.
YEAP I DID MAKE THE COMMENT UP IN THE 1ST PARA WITHOUT REACHING HERE."tum jaisi ladki," LOW AUKAT GAL IS "BRAJMAN "IN HIS HEART AND HEAD.
then the chunari slipped out of her grasp, the enchanting notes of rabba vey caressing them. were your fingers just a bit reluctant to let go. did you wish that thing your mother said would come true?

SHE WAS SO ADAMANT

"bahut badi gadbad ho gayi," if only she knew what had gone topsy turvy, and how much of a gadbad had happened.

every once in a while the director and screenplay writer got together and decided to create a moment in the episode that would be difficult to extricate oneself from. leaving us all in the state of asr when caught in thoughts of khushi. today they placed this three odd minute long scene right at the beginning of episode. it started on a note of what the, an incredulous and fast becoming angry asr listening to la's words. then the chuck of chunari, the beginning of a walk out, when suddenly, the whole world changed. and stopped. and said, come, lose yourself in me.

YES THIS WAS THAT EPI WHICH KEPT US ON OUR TIPY TOES TO WATCH IT EVEN IN THE MONSOON😆

two committed actors connected in a way that's more instinct than thought out strategy, and really took me far away to eternity. a place of longing within all of us.

THEY WERE FAB👏👏👏

the rest of the episode felt more like a whole lot of tricks and treats looking for an antidote to this spell.

then there were two people who began to care for each other, and share interesting man talk.

I LIKED La HERE AS THEY BOTHE ARE GOING TO BECOME FRIEND FOREVER

it was normal for khushi and la not to get along, for in many ways they really belonged to different spheres of everything. yet, they were the same in many ways too, both young girls, both out to make something of their lives, and shaadi seeking or not, both hopeless romantics, hoping to meet the man of their dreams.

inside la there was always the possibility of a conscientious girl: the chamkili whom she so disliked, the moment she saved her from nani's wrath, la acknowledged from her heart, and went straight up to khushi, apologised, made friends. asr is after all not so tsk tsk for liking la. at the same time, without doubt, she was also a girl who understood, "what's in it for me." i respect the writer's instinct regarding la's inner workings. the way to convince her about marriage (if one had to, as khushi for some reason decided she did), was not preaching and lecturing on virtue and stuff. the thing to do was to show her, what she might lose if she didn't insist on the tie. ever pragmatic, la instantly grasped the danger inherent in the live in situation, and went all out to change things to her advantage. shaadi. and whatever it takes to get there. i liked that, stay with the character, don't make her what she's not.

LOVELY FACTS AND SO TRUE.I LOVE HER CHARACTER AS IT HELPED BRINGING THESE TWO SOULS TOGETHER AND HELPED THEM EXPLORING EACH OTHER

la would ultimately understand things that neither khushi nor asr did. sometimes you don't know the difference between daals, the real name for "round round," and such things, but you are uncannily sharp in other matters. and with one simple act, give what many of us wouldn't ever dream of or even be able to. the man you love to the girl whom you consider a friend. because you can see and you don't look away from truth. there again, a trace of your self preservation, you know this would go nowhere ultimately. but you do indeed wish both these people well. which is why her leaving never felt like a sacrifice. it felt like a person doing what's right. a certain joy in that, just watching it. and a certainty that her life will take her to a good and right place.

SHE HAS RESPECT FROM MY SIDE FOR THAT

as la and khushi got girl talking, there was a lovely ease in the scene. this point on i felt the story became the tale of two girls for a while, both important in their own ways.

la si irritated, khsuhi is trying to make her feel better. enter... ta ta ra... bayi phrend... "dikhte toh woh bahut hi achhe hain... aur bahut hi raubile kism ke hain... aur kaam? unke ek ishare se saare kaam ho jaate hai, unhe kabhi hath uthane ki zaroorat hi nahin padti..." he looks very good, and he's quite a powerful man, work? oh just a tiny sign from him and everything gets done, doesn't have to lift a finger, he...

I KNOW EVERY WORD WAS FOR ASR

must be a senior sort of executive in an important position? counters la, the incorrigible. uh huh. watch out asr, your rival is here. jalebi bai has the dhak dhak for sallu bhai. and you are merely "bhai."😆😆😆

ladki badi hai kamal ki...

but la is still all antsy. no point resisting, khushi brings on her age old remedy of all ills, the vibrant energy of dance that defies all blues, all doom and gloom. some day, la will remember this precious lesson and use it to woo her dear friend. nani would have real reason to change her opinion of la.

fabulous, out of control dance sequence. why did i get the feeling that khushi needed that dance as much as la today. the sexual tension of those early moments, the play of all sorts of things in her mind, she needed to work it all out too.

SHE WANTED THAT TO GET OUT OF HER BAFFLEMENT

of course, i got to be in control headmaster face mr we are not amused raizada appeared (just as song reached "lagta hai murga halal ka" and khushi made all appropriate gestures to establish state of murga). the girls yiked to a stop... what is this fear, ladies, uh huh. the angry one glared, but when khushi got a call that brought worry to her voice, somehow it got reflected in his eyes as well, and the little lines on his brow.

the episode ended on two neatly delivered surprises.

1. khushi and payal had an announced visit from amma babuji thanks to an interfering slithery sort.

HATE HIM AS U KNOW THIS SLITHERY SUGAR COATED IS GETTING TOO CLOSE TO BE THROWN OUT OF CLIFF

2. la proposed to asr. now i will forgive this young lady everything, even switching to khushi style clothes, but not this. "asr, will you marry me?" how dare she steal my line.😆😆😆

try as i might, i couldn't stop thinking about the scene of the veil. all its revelations still murmuring in my head. stop it, got work.

samin, i actually, did not see it, just heard him as 80 played on the other window while i updated the epsiode yesterday. but uff there was like motorbike and suv loads of dard in the man's voice. in fact, by the time 80 finished, i was almost bawling, without even seeing most of it. the headache in 79, the badgering about marriage, the worn out weariness, the sheer blast of painful memories, achchha may i be second in the cuddling queue?

and shatir samin, you got the others to look at khushi and anjali, and think of ma in law, while you scooted over to get him all to yourself. smart move. 😆

now i am not at all the chunari wearing and head covering sort, and if done with any less beauty the scene would have seemed corny and irritating to me, yet between barun, sanaya and music director and editor, they just weaved some crazy magic and compelled me to suspend all disbelief, curb all guffaws. here's the song i spoke of.
