You know I am seriously trying to detox from IPKKND.

Am trying to watch the Saras chora and sundari story

But I can't stop comparing that to IPKKND

And the best thing about IPKKND is the characters of IPKKND

They are real, complex and not simple black and white

That is one huge huge plus -

1. Lets not talk arshi here, becos enough has been said about them

2. Nani - loving wise, but mean to mami.

3. Mami. - my favorite character. - vain, loud, vulgar, mean to Gupta sisters, but adorable, and selfless in her love for Arnav and Anjali, love her relationship with nani

4. Buaji - a strong good woman, but still always makes Khushi feel like the orphan who needs to be grateful to them

5. Anjali. - very loving and sweet, but completely self centered and delusional

6. Garima. - she too clearly favours payal over Khushi, esp. in the earlier episodes.

They give life to IPKKND, make us think, debate, argue , bash and keep us hooked.

When I see cliched stereotypes of good and bad in other shows, including the new one,

I am proud to have been a part of IPKKND

Njoy!!!

Yes, even all the supporting characters of IPK are very endearing, from the most affectionate/ supporting siblings to the most progressive elderly without much melodrama. The most striking fact of IPK is the absence of vamp, or any woman with serious ill intentions (which 4 Lions couldn't avoid in their new show!) and the only one with a potential to be one, Lavanya, has been portrayed as the most mature, gracious woman towards the end.. indeed proud to be an IPKKNDian!!

Oh yes I forgot la,

Her character growth from a bitchy mean girl to this sweet lonely girl intimidated by ASR was well shown

And the break up with ASR - handled with such grace and dignity,

And the implication that she and ASR were still friends and he was still looking out for her was so nice!

Even NK was not just a goofball or a comedian, he was funny smart, loyal, intelligent and stood up for Khushi.

Each & every characters of IPK was just perfect..at least upto a certain period...the story..the leads..their chemistry..all the casts..together made us hooked up to IPK..in such a extend that we can never let it go,& even give anything else a lit bit of it's place...

true, it will hard to find a show that matches up to IPK and strong characterisation is one of the reasons for it.
