Aankhon ke Saagar
Hothon ke Saagar
Le doobe Hamein
Her eyes.
Clear shade of hazel.
Sometimes twinkling with a tinge of gold.
Sometimes giving away the little mischief in her mind with their abrupt shine.
Sometimes brimming with laughter.
And a few times, failing her attempts on putting up a fake smile on her face.
Her lips.A shade of coral and red when natural, and generally seen with a tinge of pink, credited by her lip gloss.
Perfectly bow shaped upper lip and sinuously fuller and curvy lower lip, most of times looking a bit swollen due to continuous biting she did.
When they curved up in a smile, he would feel his whole world brighten up.
Palkon ko aise
Palkon se chhoo le
Ke jab dil mile
toh manzil mile
Her long eyelashes.
Perfectly resting on her cheeks, creating a slight shadow beneath them, covering his salvation, her eyes.
Creating a mystery with perfect rhythm of moving up and down.
Many a times making him forget listening to what her sinuous lips were telling, so engrossed he would be in following the movement of those feathery eyelashes, covering and then baring the window to her soul.
Tum bhi naa bhoolo
Hum bhi naa bhoolein
ke jab dil mile
toh manzil mile
They had danced together. He will never forget the feel of her tiny waist under his hands, her warm breath fanning his cheeks, her hesitant movements. Her shy eyes were looking everywhere except him and he couldn't care less about steps. His whole focus was on her being and emotions playing across her eyes- irritation, then anger, then mischief and then...dazed!?!**
Tadapna mera
Hasna tera
Neendein meriSapna tera
She smiled politely when he told her that he will never leaver her side & will never believe that she could willingly do something that would hurt her loved ones. She thought it as one of his attempts to make her feel better, and she thanked him politely, saying that he was indeed a gem of a friend, and she was thankful to him for his trust.
He had smiled with a pain in his chest, now that he would never be able to tell her that he hadn't got a choice. He could read it in her eyes and he couldn't deny anything that her eyes told him.#
Sabhi dooriyaan
Woh majbooriyaan
Bhulado unhein
Ke main hoon yahaan
When he had held her in his arms, even though for briefest moments , he felt he had died and reached heaven.
She was crying, she was distressed and he knew he would do anything in his power , even stop breathing willingly if it could remove those tears from her eyes. It was supposed to be her wedding day & her groom, her lover, her Arnavji was nowhere to be found. With dadi's dramatic narration of past, he knew she was fearing for her love to be abandoned by him. He in his heart felt unguarded fury towards him, for putting her through so much hate & insecurities . How could he not value her love. How could he give something as irrelevant as past a priority over her, over her smile, over her love. And he wanted, nay, needed that love to achieve its rightful respect, as much as he needed to breath. A part of his subconscious knew that it was because he , inside his heart, wanted that love for himself, and he knew it would always remain a unfulfilled wish.
But still he couldn't stop himself from feeling those emotions when he had held her, he felt he was complete. Like a missing piece of puzzle was found and put into place to complete a picture. Like he had finally, finally got something in return for his unknown, unreciprocated, unconditional love.
Ye jivan mera
Ye khushian sabhiTere naam ki
Mere naam ki
She was happy. Finally. It was all what mattered for him. Whether she was or wasn't with him wasn't ever a question. All that mattered was now her eyes danced with glee and unbound happiness, and love. He was happy standing in the side, watching her building a life with her Arnavji. Her happiness was the only way for his happiness.
Yes , finally Nandkishore, her Nanheji, was a happy man.
Aankhon ke Saagar
Hothon ke Saagar
Le doobe Hamein
