So many problems that happened in our dear serial were only becoz of the high popularity it gained. The popularity was as such good for a few & created a great pressure on others.
1st problem started with our serial when the hate marriage started. There was a huge disappointment from the fans side. TRPs started to fall. We are so greedy that we want 'all is well' & the show also to run for so many episodes. How will the CVs manage to give episodes then??? The CVs really had planned the story so well initially & managed to cross about 180 episodes without getting the main leads married that usually doesn't happen in other serials. Great applause to CVs for that. And as everyone feels that was the GOLDEN PERIOD OF IPKKND. Then saturation slowly started to set in. A twist was mandatory hence the hate marriage. Ya the CVs failed to show ASR as a shrewd guy & instead showed him as an emotional fool who took a hasty decision of marrying khushi forcefully & keep her in the same house as Shyam is. Definitely so stupid. But how to drag the serial & at the same time keep it entertaining. Minus the logic in the hate marriage track, we should not forget that we got so many wonderful arshi scenes like I hate you, Shirt scene, Mandir, Kheer, Water fight, Holi, Khushi's nautanki, Bali, Heer-Ranjha, Tuition scenes, Swamy track and GH track. It is true that if u try to satisfy everyone, u will never succeed. There were so many complaints about whatever they show after that. Few said we don't want fake romance (infront of family members), some didn't want rona-dhona, some didn't want khushi to comeback to her old chirpy & sanki attitude. But if we feel positive, we can justify everything. ASR has few reasons to be cold & ruthless to khushi becoz here & there khushi-shyam were found together after terrace scene (like heer-ranjha, gift wrap & minor other incidents too). Khushi couldn't get the truth from arnav's mouth & hence she decided to torture him in her own OTT but cute way (which Arnav enjoyed anyway. I laugh at her swami act & other antics at GH. That period only I started to watch IPKKND & I got attracted to it. It was really nice) so that ASR himself throws her out of RM. Finally she felt Arnav loves only la & the suicide track. Many felt that was OTT. But it was fine to me. She loves Arnav unconditionally. Though she had hurt her number of times, she wants him to be happy. If he would be happy at her death, then she was ready for it. This shows her selfless love, not stupid. But the saddest point was they failed to show Arnav to realize her motive behind the suicide attempt. They didn't show a shrewd ASR in the mean time. It should have been good had he used his brain to have a bg check for shyam. He did nothing except blocking all his accounts. Nothing more than that. They could have shown the intense of hate marriage in a better way like Asr makes khushi sign contract papers (showing how both of them suffer from inside). In the mean time the CVs flattered badly with payash track & hence brought in bubbly track which could have been avoided or they could have shown her in a positive way. The main fault I found with the introduction of new characters for story development is that all were negative (Bubbly, dummy masala mama, dadi, Sheetal). For story development they could have introduced some positive characters. The only character NK introduced in the middle was loved & adored by everyone after arshi because of its positive energy & freshness that brought into the script.
