some parts from the interview..TG: Movies'.or television. What is the experience like?
BS: It is all acting. Everyone asks me what the difference is and I always maintain that it is all acting.
TG:Maybe because it was an emotional one or you just could not identify with the situation?
BS: Oh yes! That happens all the time actually. Television is a very hands on industry so we get scenes or situations that seem completely unreal and unimaginable and then it becomes difficult to look at the larger picture and put things into perspective. At times, it becomes difficult to make people believe but that is what television is all about. On the one hand as an actor, I have to be convinced about the situation to be able to portray it well but most of the time whether I am convinced or not'it has to be done'the episode has to go to telecast. I can't even begin to give you examples because there have been so many scenes that I have grappled with but as an actor, my job is to convince myself as quickly as possible and play it with conviction. You can only deliver if you are convinced otherwise there is no point in doing it. Luckily, the people I work with love and respect me so if I have a hard time in terms of conviction then I just talk it out with the writers and makers and we find a way to move forward.
He did mention that TV or movies its about acting.
He did mention that it may be TV is unimaginable but as an actor he always tried to convince himself fast and if there was any such cases he was not convinced he talked to his team.
And again my same thought why TV shows always have to be unrealistic...a perfect female lead with a cruel saas. Why not have a realistic show.I am sure it will have much more viewers than current saas bahu drama.
Well I respect your POV in case of his PR...I can't or do not want to force anyone. To me its one of his best interview.I am one who always looks for technicalities and this interview gives me a true picture of TV industry. It varies from people to people. Some like reading goody sugary sweet stuffs and some like to read the truth no matter how bitter it is.I prefer reading a real interview than any polished one then be it from anyone. To me its about fact of his and TV industry nothing to relate with his PR.
