I was/am a great fan of him but what he said may be was right from his perspective but at this moment frankness is not required. He should not say that just by working 1 year in a show he is brain dead though he portrayed different feelings in that 1 year. He may be lucky and get successful but he should not forget ASR made him what he is today. Changing statements at a budding stage of one's career may ruin the future, why has he become overconfident, not appearing on award shows, now please dont compare him with Amir Khan he stopped when the awards were not given to him and then he completely stopped but Sobti is still new he should go out and not appear arrogant.

I am a grt fan of his have watched every episode at least 10 times so please dont bash me. Truthful suggestions are made to dear ones 😊.

he has never changed his statements, he is frank, he always TV was too stressful, he had been feeling that he had given all he could to ASR, and had nothing more to add. he is saying that honestly and openly, and that s to be appreciated.

As for the future, its a risk hehas taken and only time will tell whether he was right or wrong, right now he is doing what feels right to him.

exactly!!!!! i too...enjoyed reading his int. he stated wat he feels, very honestly n openly n i think dats wat matters!! n i completely agree wid him...once u lose interest in sumthin u shud nt do it fr d sake of doin it!! n he said dis very honestly, n m really proud of dat m "his" phangurl :P

TV has produced greats like Virendra Saxena of the Tamas fame, Smriti Irani of KSKBT fame, and Ram Kapoor

The greatest of them all SRK!!!

Its juvenile, snarky and arrogant of Mr Sobti to talk about his previous employer like this

I wish him all the very best in becoming the next SRK (cough!)

God forbid if HE does NOT, then he has effectively by such genius comments shut the doors of any body else that might possibly employ him.

He only mentioned that he didn't like hectic schedule, not getting enough time to do crucial scenes due to no bank of episodes,last minute changes etc. He liked IPK but after some time story becomes monotonous & actor has to do same scenes. Thats why he just feel that serials should not be unnecessarily streched. As he had already cleared about his willingness for not working for long duration , it was duty of PH & channel who knew that he will be leaving, to give proper ending to story with all tracks closed rather than giving all bullshit tracks.

I get your point and agree. I have nothing personal, but these bashing points make me wonder if there is something more personal going on here. I have no intention whatsover into turning this ugly. I am editing my post.
