When the conspiracy theories came, Gul Khan had an interview released where he clearly said there were no conpiracies and that his decision to quit was his and his alone and that infact he wanted to quit in Feb.

How much clearer did he have to be? But his fans did not want to believe it and made posts saying the interview was scripted...but u guys still want to establish that its sobtis fault...i really cant understand why

Him quitting was not a good news for the public image of my company and so out of courtsey he decided to keep news under wraps till they found another person to replace him. It was only after my company decided on a right course of action that a statement was made to our clients. Even at that time him quitting was a big blow to us but no one neither us nor the clients blamed him. Rather everyone was supportive of him wanting to better his life. Yes in the mean time he had to avoid answering clients as in corporate world too news leaks ...but we don't call him s liar as he was doing it to respect the company image..and ofcourse part on good terms..I see Sobti's response the same way...

A lot of times in entertainment industry people are bound by contract which does restrict an individual from making statements.

that was the intention of this post. to highlight his inconsistent answers. at least that is how i see it...I am, of course, not the TM.

the guy does not interview well. i realized that at the height of my appreciation for him when he interviewed with noreen khan for the first time and i was a huge fan at that time, and i say it now when i have been left quite indifferent to him.

his inconsistent answers give fodder to people who then mislead others into believing conspiracy theories, and call SP ad infinitum.

Let me assure you I did something along the very same lines not long ago. But it's been four weeks, it's the continued obsession with Sobti that I don't understand not the fact that people critisise him.

either you believe his interviews or you dont. you cant cherry pick what you want to believe. besides the post is on his confusing answers. and dude, he continued to give them in the last interview too - something like 'I have no movies' and then 2 questions later 'I have training workshops starting in Jan'.

Barun was the first, only, and sadly last indian telly guy I became a fan of. He lost me as a fan purely because of his waffling, which to me constitutes unprofessionalism. You will no doubt disagree. Fine by me. 😊 To each his own.
