See if i entered the forum today I would wonder the same thing, that why is the forum like this. To understand what the TM is saying you would have to have been in this forum when the news broke out about the lead actor quitting. The actor went on to make contradictory/confusing statements that lead to his fans being misinformed and his fans started baseless rumours like, he's leaving b/c his character is getting butchered, the producer (Gul Khan) abused him and made him cry which not only led to his fans spamming SP through calls but also on twitter to either retain the actor or to shut down the show. The problem was the actor didn't want to continue on with the show therefore the channel shut the show.

The worse was that the producer (Gul Khan) and the other actor (Viraf Patel) roped into replace Sobti were bashed mercilessly and people even alleged that Gul Khan was having an affiar with another actor on her other show. Then the same fans cry foul when people question Sobti's professional conduct and put some of the blame on him. People are only fed up of the double standards.

I agree. I mean I have no sources either😆 so I'm going with what LM said.. they planned to kill ASR and move on with Khushi's story. As a viewer of the show for more than a year.. I would have felt cheated/disappointed... just my POV obviously. So I'm okay that the show is over. Had they developed a parallel lead track for a few weeks it might not have hit this hard.

On the so called contradictory statements...I work in an organization...at sevral times these kinds of information are with held till the last minute:

1) Our organization was owned by a very famous and very old US based organization, and everyone was very proud to be part of that company...this organization decided to divest its stake to some venture capital companies...some stories came out in the news papers and everyone was apprehensive, and asked the leadership if this was true, and they immediately denied it and called it rumours. But it did happen. Did everyone call them liars repeatedly? No...becoz we were mature enough to undrerstand that in such situations open discussions with everyone cannot happen

2) If someone in my area of business resigns, and if this person works closely with a customer...I immediately tell them not tell the customer that they have resigned, and say that they are thinking of taking a break or something...and then I work with the customer to set up the entire leaving business...I need to do this in instances where the customer is very attached to the person he is working with and will create an unnecessary uproar over it. There are some customers who are practical and understand that resignations happen, and to them its told quite openly.

The point here is that the employee doesnt have too much of a say in what has to be declared publicly. It has to be the Channels and PH's decision.

I can only hope that you understand from this that there could be a reason why he initially said he did not quit...instead of just chanting the usual liar song...like I said I can hope
