Even though the ending was not all that great, I am still glad that that ASR was not shown dead. I don't think I could have handled it well. It would have been really bad to see ASR dead and Khushi crying and all and then slowly they would have brought the new guy for her. That would have been really bad and I am just glad that I was spared that pain.
