S:I'm mad about camera since childhood. I didn't want to be an actress but wanted to enter modeling field. Boman Irani saw my portfolio. He too didn't become an actor at that moment. He was a photographer then. Its because of him, I got a modeling chance.I was seen in Airtel, reliance,Pepsi etc. commercials. I will never forget the experience I have shared working with Amitabh, Sharukh, Priyanka Chopra.

R:How did you enter serials?

S:When I'm busy with commercials, I got a chance to act in famous singer Jagjeet Singh's "Tum ko dekha tho ye". I became famous then. Then I got a chance in 'Fanaa'. I acted as kajol's friend in that movie. After that, I got a chance to work in "Left Right Left". Became famous after working in it and hence the continuous offers.

R:In your career till now, which character satisfied you the most?

S:Undoubtedly, the lead character in "Iss Pyaar Ko Kyaa Naam Doon". Though I did 5 serials before, never got this feeling before. I became close to all. I enjoyed while working for IPKKND and I'm enjoying even more seeing all the response it got.

R:Did you bag any awards?

S:I have received best tv actress awards 6 times till now. I want to receive even more because awards are like energy drinks for actors.

R:We know Sanaya as an actress. How is Sanaya as a person?

S:May be because of staying in hostels, I accustomed to be an independent person. I take my own decisions. I myself decide everything like what to do, how to do. I will continue in my way without any fear.

R:Do you mean, you don't fear anything?

S:No no. I run away if I come across cockroaches, lizards, rats. Even though I'm a fearless person in other aspects, I will run away if I come across these.

R:Are you married?

S:No, but I'm ready to marry immediately if I get a good guy.

R:What type of person do you want?

S:I don't bother about the person in particular but he should not be a liar. I hate those who use to tell lies. Also, I prefer such persons who don't show any status differences.

R:Tell us about your first crush.

S:Its during my 5^th standard, I used to like a boy in my class. I used to miss him even he was absent for a single day. But the feeling was lost after entering 6^th standard. Not only on that boy, but I lost interest in boys. I didn't find much intelligence, patience and maturity in boys than in girls. After a long time, I changed that feeling.

R:Tell us about your goal.

S:Nothing much but I want to reach heights in whatever field I work. I'm working day and night now-a-days. Lets see when will I achieve that.
