@ bold , i guess there is a correction . "Only if the hero was interested/passionate to act as actor ". ASR character was strong in writing always till the show was on air but before leaving /afetr the return from kidnapping track , the bold what you have mentioned was lost and diluted completely .( forget abt grooming )
My mom who is a TRP viewer could say it straight abt disinterest clearly when she saw it onscreen. She was wishing for replacement from long as she could not stand acting onscreen and used to criticise it badly and later when grooming went for toss , she simply could not even tolerate onscreen criticised further digging on professionalism . TRP viewers are not blind neither can be fooled , my mom did not see ASR, it was only BS clearly for her since the return from kidnapping . she was not even aware of any conspiracy or offscreen drama.
When I said new character would join the show to play opposite Khushi, she was excited to watch the show again.
