Some people have over active imagination and some others buy their imagination. Some people conjured up plausible reasons/situations that may have played out behind closed doors and "sold" it tothe rest! That is all the whole entertainment industry about, anyway. It is usually someone's imaginations rendered beautifully on screen for some other suckers that get "entertained" by it.
I have no problem with Barun quitting; personal or otherwise. I do however think there was not much left to watch in IPK. The story had reached its logical end. How else do you explain the PH letting viewers lnow the story had run its course? How do you explain that the PH and channel had 2 months to work in a twist to the story to phase out Arnav and didn't do squat about it? How do you explain why they came up with nonsensical tracks such as the one with ShitAl instead of what one would normally expect would happen after a marriage of such epic proportions? How do we reconcile with the idea that there was no redemption by Arnav when all along we had been promised one?
The fact 200 people lost their jobs has nothing to do with BS quitting. It is a corporate decision made by SP! But yes, an acknowledgement about the shut down of the show would have been gracious. Then again, when has BS ever been gracious?
In any case, I don't care anymore. I just wanted people to stop talking about Barun for a while, at the very least. If I don't hear about him for a while, I will be grateful for that! The likelihood that I will watch any future shows of Barun or any of his movies is close to zero. I am ready to tuck IPK and Barun away into a far corner of my brain and move on.
