I compeletly disagree that Barun was not provided a make up man to do his make up. All other male characters in the show seemed to look well make-uped, groomed and attired from NK to Akash to Babuji to all those extra men seen in office scenes and such. So why not Barun?

Either Barun was not interested in wearing make up, refused to wear it or didn't have the time for it. I noticed this trend of him looking oily and unkept during the last few months of the show. Maybe he lost interest in the role he was playing altogether hence the lack of need to groom himself.

Which ever it is I fail to understand how he started to look so shabby and unkept towards the end. Isn't it the actor's job to atleast get a shave, wash his face well and get a hair cut? I dont understand why LM or any one else never commented on his shabby appearance (maybe they did) and asked him to get his act straight but I believe it's an actor's job to groom himself and look in par with the character he is portraying. I remember Sanaya once commenting on how adament he is about even getting a hair cut. So I rest my case.

About Khushi not getting the importance she deserved, is open for interpretation. The show itself was centered around ASR, portrayed from the eyes of the male protagonist most of the time, so there's no argueing ASR got much much more importance, scope and depth to his role compared to Khushi.

It was always about his pain, his happiness, his bond with his sister, his love for Khushi etc. Khushi was just his love interest on the way. If she had been given as much importance, they would have highlighted her bond with Payal, Her bond with her family especially bauji, her happinesses and focussed more on her pain and suffering which NEVER happend. While Arnav howled in pain at Shyam's betrayal, we didn't even know how Khushi felt after the forced marriage. It was all swept under the carpet and was never portrayed in a proper manner

I dont think LM was talking about the screen space of Khushi because I think Sanaya was working the most hours and was having most of screen space in the show. It was the 'importance' the story writers gave to the character he was talking about and it pales a lot in comparison to Arnav's.

I am working in an IT company and since last 1 year,i have been working for 15 hours a day,including weekends.Since last 5 months,i have been working even on saturdays and sundays for atleast 9 to 10 hours.

Even doctors have to work hard a lot.They also have to work for a long time.So none of the fields is easy.So if people can't work for many hours,then they can better stay at home and remain unemployed.

Barun had an equal opportunity for makeup to disguise dark circles under the eyes - in some of the previous episodes you will see his facial makeup. Its just that in the last few months he was very inconsistent with his makeup. Not bashing anyone here, I am very fond of both Sanaya and Barun !!

I am just going to comment on the working hours. These guys already know how this industry works. People should think twice before taking up an acting job. It usually means a 15 hour shift. The problem is the episode banks. If the PH doesnt have a bank, it's obvious that the team has to put in more hours. The whole behind-the-scenes management sucked big time, thats the bottom line.

The reason I said Barun was not groomed was because that was also a part of ASR, as was him getting out of a helicopter. He was ,made to look tired because he was in a lot of stress as ASR when he was kidnapped, when his marriage was in turmoil, not because he did not have a make up artist.

Hard work and long hours are the norm in every field.Some doctors work 14-15 hour days and get only every other Sunday off.
