I think I better ask the MODs to close this thread, because here I was praising SARUN and the cast and it seems those who state themselves as fans are convinced without following the show closely that it was a crappy show where Sanaya was treated badly, Barun was given poor cloths, The story was badly written etc. Why exactly did you then watch this show?

Khushi's character didn't receive half the attention that ASR's character got. And plz don't even talk of her dresses and makeup, we all know she is very pretty and would have looked amazing with nice makeup and dressup, which she would receive only occasional like on diwali or karwa chauth, otherwise she was dressed in those f**king tent suits.

And Mr.LM was talking about the characterization of the characters and thats true, ASR had the hellicopter scene, his relationship with his family members were well defined untill the very end, while Khushi's family laid ignored, and no one can deny that Sanaya was the root of the show, she kept it running when others left it for their own personal sakes. Sanaya Irani made Khushi without much help from any huge prop or many serious scenes, she made Khushi memorable, but ASR made BS. Bas!

I watched Khushi for Sanaya and her acting not her dresses and makeup. Khushi was not Mr Martyr or Mahaan like other Bahus she was our Khushi which as she herself said" Humara naam hi Khushi hain." after Arnav had hurt her the most. So that was the exact line which made me understand her acts. She would smile no matter what and made us smile with her weird sense of humor. The focus was ARSHI and I loved how a couple who had very different views of love- Khushi for whom love meant a soft spoken person like Shyam and Arnav for whom- Love did not even believe in love fell and a partner like Lavanya who is well dressed not only fall in love but also support each other through every antics. That was the beauty of IPKKND. Their sweet love for each other and how they changed for each other. We did see Arnav wearing Kurta for Khushi only and Khushi wearing a western outfit for Arnav. But she did set her foot when it came to short dresses. That made me realize the line which they would not cross.

I disagree. Khushi's role was a complete mess at the end and she was a regular girl next door and this role has been don before many times by other actress but no one comparable to sanayas acting. Arnav's role is by far the best written role in TV..period. Grooming is something an actor has to show interest in and barun completely neglected this part which also comes under actors duty! How come all the other shows male leads look good in terms of grooming and only barun looked tired, oily and unkept? Why would SP or PH ignore their most loved charector? U think they can't afford a makeup artist?

Ignorance towards Khushi character was clearly visible in many occasions...
Sanaya had as much as tiredness and dirk circles as Barun...but she was professional enough to hide...period

i totally agreed with LM.. her character did not have the grand touching the way ASR's char was sketched .. we all know khushi's char was butchered even in the last dayz of IPK..

so disagreed to this post .. but loved whatever LM ji told about her .. :)

I compeletly disagree that Barun was not provided a make up man to do his make up. All other male characters in the show seemed to look well make-uped, groomed and attired from NK to Akash to Babuji to all those extra men seen in office scenes and such. So why not Barun?

Khushi's character was never given any justice in the show.She was the only one who would always think about others happiness before her own yet she got lot of pains and trouble.She was always shown to be sacrificing and easily forgiving people and that's the weakest point of her character.

I am just going to comment on the working hours. These guys already know how this industry works. People should think twice before taking up an acting job. It usually means a 15 hour shift. The problem is the episode banks. If the PH doesnt have a bank, it's obvious that the team has to put in more hours. The whole behind-the-scenes management sucked big time, thats the bottom line.
