I nearly cried Disha 😒
I have to be honest and say that reuniting in death stories are sadly one of my favourite topics. These kinds of stories you can write so passionately and heart-breakingly about. And YOU, Disha have done this complete justice!
Honest to god this was so beautiful.
And i loved the way you ended it without us actually knowing what Arnav thinks after realising he's left the rest of his family behind in his grief. It gives us the slight impression that maybe everything isn't perfect. Like it's perfect in the sense that they are finally with each other... But his realisation emphasises the idea of living for those around you. For his happiness, everyone else joined to his life is now unhappy (even though it wasn't his fault lol)
But yes, you have written this one-shot so wonderfully. The way in which you have portrayed his heart-break and complete and utter anguish over losing Khushi... It was just wow! 👏
I especially liked this line:This pain was Red. It felt like a hot knife searing through my body and the blood refused to ooze-- to free me of some of the agony. There is just so much pain filled in that one sentence that you can literally feel it yourself. It honestly left me feeling a little empty at his loss 😭
A beautiful piece of writing Disha! You're amazing! ❤️
All my love,
Shay X
