Khushi and Arnav were equal in every right except for the love they received.

I have been watching ipk from day 1 and I only started it was for Barun, being a fan of his from bhph. I didn't know who any of the actors were at that time except for him. However, Sanaya impressed me more than anyone else, even more than Barun here. She worked more than anyone else. Her expressions and mood while being Khushi changed within seconds, it was amazing how she switched it up like that.

Khushi deserved this more than anyone else. The Mrs. India pageant as weird as the track is, shows how Khushi has grown as a person yet has still stayed the same. I think even if Arnav is there, like Sudha said, they will edit him in from canned shots. I feel that the whole episode will mostly be flashbacks of the couple's journey together. Or I am thinking she will end of falling into Arnav's arms and staring into his eyes with Rabba Ve in the background, exactly like their first meeting, with Arhi coming full circle. Then in the end the whole cast will be singing the title song iss pyaar ko kya naam doon.

@ luv-isn't classy - Another reason why I became attached to this show was due to the parallels I could draw from it to my personal life. I think that if this show and the 2 lead characters were not so similar to my life I may never have loved this show as much as I did. It felt as if someone had taken the personalities of ASR and Khushi by secretly filming my life or something.

I just like those women who have self respect,dignity...

I adore Michelle. She is so much like a regular everyday kind of person - worked to become who she is, is the central foundation of her family and is not just a blow up pretty doll put there to placate the conceptions of what a wife or First Lady should be doing. She is Elegance, Beauty and Brains.

and

Michelle has balls and i love her for it.

That is why i loved khushi - she was everything a woman should be. and then her characterization was marred but to me this serial started off as about khushi,...got some ASR thrown in halfway, and since the MU im back to being all for khushi again.

circle of life yes :)

@FLG AND LOOPY: you gaiz...you just perfectly encapsulated the whole story didnt you!! ❤️

In my humble opinion, anyone that stands with Sanaya ends up looking good. Charm seems to wear off once she leaves. She had this brightness about her that brought about an aura that was unique to her.

Quite frankly, while I loved Arshi and SARUN, ASR seemed to have had just 10-20% of what Khushi (Sanaya) did. Just about every scene had her in it. She stewarded the effort while everyone else added to it in their own way.

Swathi...

ASR is the quintessential M&B hero to me...though, I started truly liking him only after he softened up towards Khushi.

I never liked his cruelty and meanness towards Khushi in the earlier episodes and after the hate marriage - to this day I haven't watched the few episodes after hate marriage when Khushi was pounced on by the full family while he hid in his room...cannot and could not stand those episodes when he MUed her and treated her badly.

I fell in love with his character after the Teri Meri dance...then I went back to being upset with him during the MU...then again fell in love with him after he told Khushi he loves her...since then, except a few episodes, (when he blackmailed and bullied her into coming back to RM) I have pretty much loved his character.

To me ASR became likable only because of Khushi and her impact on him...these two characters are incomplete without each other...and complement each other.

For me there is no ASR if there is no Khushi...

I would like to remember ASR as Arnav...the man who loved and respected Khushi.

I don't know if what I wrote makes any sense...sorry Swathi...I am still upset about the serial ending like this...

Swathi for me Arnav and khushi have always been equal. And that was the uniqueness of the show for me. Something different than the heroine always being the bechari bahu.
I've watched the show from day 1 , instantly fell in love with both ASR and KKG. And it was baruns brilliant portrayal as ASR and sanaya's superb acting as khushi. I've liked Sanaya since MJHT and barun I saw him first in IPK.
I've watched so many shows ( can't even number them ) and I've never seen such acting on a small screen as BS and SI. I've seen lots of shows shut down all of a sudden in the past for different reasons which we never got to know because we didn't have such resources in the past. I guess that "more information than you need to know "made it more messier. Or else BS would've exited , been replaced and people would've accepted sooner or later.
For me I'll remember IPK as a wonderful memory. The drama of last two months will not influence my thoughts for BS or SI that I had for past year and a half.
It's really heartbreaking for me though that the show is ending this way and more than that I'll b parting from this forum this way.
I just see two teams in the forum nowadays barun team and Sanaya team. There's no place for someone who wants to think neutral. Anyways I've met some really great people like you here and I'll always cherish that. I'll be there tomorrow at the dori to say final good bye.

ASR was alluring...because Khushi withstood him.

True story (albeit paraphrased):

Barak and Michelle Obama were having dinner in some hotel. The owner of the hotel happened to be Michelle's college boyfriend. Before starting dinner he came and chatted a bit with Michelle and left.

Barak asked his wife who it was.

She told him it was a college boyfriend - who had proposed to her, but she hadn't accepted.

Barak said imagine if you were his wife - you would be the wife of a hotel chain owner.

Michelle said: no, if i was his wife, he would have been the President of United States.

Enough said.

I love it when Aashi speaks intelligent.

Ovaries bursting.

Oh, and ASR?

Dude was a legend, but was he a legend because of his character or because of the way Khushi complimented him? Imagine ASR with a Gopi Bahu type Khushi.

Exactly.
