There was a show that started on a high note with a promise to be different and different it was for a long time. But soon the storyline started taking a bump and loopholes and illogicalities started glaring at the audience.Groups were formed and while some defended the show and story, others criticized the illogicalities. Soon the fan base of the show moved from show fans to Barun fans, Sanaya Fans, Sarun fans and some remained show fans.

The bumpy ride took a big blow when the lead was said to be quitting' now why the quitting is still left to be decided, he said it was a break, his employers said it was for greener pastures and the media danced between both.

The formed groups took arms and decided to fight for the honour, daily bread and career of their respective champs' cause ofcourse they knew better!!

In this cross firing between the channel, PH, media and fans a lot of people got caught without even walking in the line of fire.

The 'QUITTING ACTOR" just wanted to quit and if you think calmly without being emotional he has every right to decide what he wants to do with his life and career. If he wants to quit and go sit on the Himalayas its his life. Just like we take decisions for our own lives, the celebrities and tv/ movie personalities can too.
Of course his vague answers and fumbling never really communicated with conviction what his reasons were, but the final fact was he was leaving the show.

Then started the cross firing between the fans and channel and the guy who just wanted to go, got caught in it. The first one to get caught in the cross firing!

Did he want people to fight for his life and career and honour? Did he ask for support and help? Yet between being painting black for being selfish and a martyr incarnate, he is now being held responsible for shutting the show.

The next to be caught in the cross fire was the "LEADING LADY". While some saw her as a victim of her co star's selfishness, other decided she couldn't and shouldn't act opposite anyone else. So mission salvage her, started and cross firing began. Some fought to end her character with the male protagonist, while others demanded a new protagonist. Did she ask for the assistance? Did she hand over the responsibility of her career decisions to anyone? No, yet she is being painted as an untrue friend by some and as a true professional by others.

Next to be caught in the cross fire were the "CAST & CREW".

Raj Kapoor wasn't just mouthing a dialogue in "Mera Naam Joker" when he said "The Show must go on". This is the rule this industry works on. With the list of leads that have quit their shows just this month, and their shows still moving on, it is a perfect example of this statement.

But cause guns were armed, firing happened, 200 families were brought in and sides were picked. While some decided to fight for the 200 families and demand the show to go on, others decided that they needed a better and more stable project so started demanding for a new project to accommodate them. Did they ask for the protecting? Did they ask for the career guidance? No, but cause we are on a save the world mission' why stop, right?

The blame games will continue and the champs will live on, but we need to just pause and understand that just like we don't like someone to make life decisions for us, we shouldn't do it for them. If someone had to come and tell me to do a job in a specific company and take up a specific role I am not going to appreciate it. And if they had to call my boss and ask him to fire me and then call the potential boss and ask him to hire me then am likely to tell that person to do the job and just send me the pay cheaque!!! Expressing opinions and being critical is one thing' taking charge of another's life is a whole different ball game!!

A very good post Juhi.😊 I don't know for what we are fighting for? When we do not even know what the truth is in real. It is nothing but endless speculations.. And it continues..

Hello Juhi! Great post! This is a really nice write up. Thank you for being a sane and neutral member. I am guilty as charged as I have also taken part in the bashing. I hope we can all learn from this roller coaster ride and take it in stride as to never get so emotionally involved in a show. It will make the coping process a lot better.

very well written post... sane and just the need of the hour...

what i think :

I would agree to the demands the fans made about not casting anyone else as ASR and no new character for Khushi...

the PH and the channel generally mocks the audience by casting another actor or changing the whole story to accomodate a new character...in some serials the leads have gone on to marry 4-5 diff people before they settle down together in the end...

we dint want that for Khushi and ASR... so i agree to that...as it is i believe if they had gone ahead with this idea, then the trps wud have shown them the result and the show wud've shut down anyways

but there were lots of other options open for the ph to continue this story...there were other characters whose story cud've been developed...but they never did that...anyways... no point discussing it now...

But this is a lesson learnt...never get attached to a show that it dominates ur personal life so much... that way the show will go on...and everyone will remain happy

Hey juhi...excellent post yet again...you are the sanest and most neutral of all the forum members...I know I have also partaken in this madness with my vociferous bashing...and hence am guilty as charged...the only thing I can add here is I hope this 1.5 years ka dhamakedaar ending serves as a learning experience for all...for me it will definitely be to not get so emotionally invested in something fictional...But i am sorry i need to vent...maybe to cope with the loss of the show or the disappointment...but i will go down bashing , as i have never been so sorely let down by something I loved so much.
i love ya Juhi🤗

I believe its their creative decision. I had decided for myself to stop watching after the exist of ASR's character. That was my decision. Those shows with 5 marriage have had loyal audience too. And making a request, making suggestion and expressing opinions is one thing... this went on a whole different level and now the viewers are at logger heads with each other because they think their icon needs protecting from the opposite champ!!
The people who everyone is fighting for.. do they want to be fought for?

i agree... that's my lesson from this show, that everyone is capable of taking care of themselves, personally and professionally, and if they are not able to, then let them learn from their mistakes

and second lesson, never get attached to any show, neither get involved in all the controversy...
