I don't think it's the question of whether you raised a voice or not - it's the question of how many people viewed it just for entertainment purposes.

For me, and for many others, it was an entertaining show with a lot of promises. We wanted to see the story the PH wanted to show us rather than the one the fans wanted, because then everyone's fan fiction would be a TV serial.

However for you, and maybe a few others, it was more than just an entertainment show. You probably took it a lot more seriously, and therefore petitioned for it, etc.

However as a result of your seriousness and attachment (even though we were attached too), we had to suffer as the demands of your petitions were met.

So it wasn't a matter of why we didn't raise a voice, because even if it was going absolutely crap, I'd still not make a petition, rather I'd switch the channel as most viewers should do if Sobti was leaving. Mostly because, to me this was my way of de-stressing after a hard day's work, this was my way of dreaming the romance existed.

Now that's been taken away.

Based on your own argument YOU LOST. This is a democracy - so losers just shut up and go home lol If you did not scream loud enough you did not care for it. The person who cared for it got their way. So why are you attacking that person?

The PH 4Lions could not run the show - that is why it got shut down! Get that???

If you still believe Rima is responsible for shutting down the show then you find yourself on the losing side and everything you are saying sounds like whining.

So STOP attacking people that have no relation to the channel or the PH. They were just expressing their opinion. If opinions expressed resulted in shutting down the show GREAT.

Rima, may be we should target another show to shut down. You seem very powerful. Let's see how many shows we can shut down LOL

All these petitions were going forward as though the entire fan-base wanted it - when that was clearly not the case, and Rima, along with everyone else, was aware of it.

If the petition had gone forward with a - some fans want this, then the story would be entirely different.
then the other fans shud have woken up instead of waiting till the end to cry foul

Dear Rima, I dont know if the petition was right or wrong.. but just thanking you for standing up for the group of people who wanted to fight for the show.. yes many wanted the show to end on a happy note with Barun still in the show.. me being a fanatic fan of IPK, will terribly miss the daily dose of arhi at 8.00pm everyday, but I have the previous episodes to watch and relive the moment.

I ve had many difference of opinions with u. I remember our v 1st encounter which was a bitter slug fest. Soon v coexisted peacefully though v ve had verbal battles. I am an ASR fan & u r a KKG fan who also likes ASR in his saner avatar. We had a live & let live policy.

I never supported any of the prev petitions coz frankly any PH/creatives who can b arm twisted into changing their plot/story dont deserve any respect since they basically dont trust their creative capabilities. I feel constant clamour for change in the tracks confused the CVs into dishing out crap, OTT tracks. But having said that it was my personal stand & i never supported nor bashed the ppl who made/signed the petitions. Ppl ve the right to make/submit petitions. Its up to the PH/creatives/channel to act on it.

I dint like the changes made to the track based on demands of the fans. But i dint abuse the fans. Instead i simply used the remote & switched channels.

Same here as well. If ppl dint want the show 2 end they c'd ve very well made another petition asking the PH/channel 2 continue the show. First they choose 2 b passive & now they pounce on the fans abusing them.

I ve already posted my response to 1 such thread bashing ppl. Even i was bashed & they used phrases like Bite my ass, selfish, insensitive, ignorant, Ms Reality blah blah blah. I simply replied in a polite manner & asked them 2 go take a hike.

Taking the moral high ground must b backed with solid action. Have seen lots of ppl who weep when they watch the plight of refugees in war torn Africa or women who ve been raped or abused here in India. But at the end of the day after all the preaching & lectures are done what ve these so called sensitive ppl done to help those victims. Ppl here r calling me insensitive coz i said i dont care bt these 200 ppl. Now what did ppl like you who apparently care for these 200 ppl do to help them. So actions speak better than words. Just writing few lines claiming 2 sympathize with those ppl doesnt take us anywhere. Thats wat US presidents do after every bombing in some hapless III world country. I choose 2 b insensitive rather than preach loads & loads to ppl & then at the end of the day carry on with my life. Ppl who really make a difference dont speak or sympathize. They prove thru their actions. Like Theresa or Aung San Suu Kyi or the girl in Pakistan who was shot by the extremists. I prefer to b insensitive & do my work rather than preach & do nothing!

At the end of the day u & i may disagree. All i ask is disagree respectfully w/o swearing or abusing.

Dont worry. Ppl ll always ve something 2 complain but rarely do they do anything to help others. Just shrug ur shoulders & ignore the bashing!

Nobody can blame one individual but it was a collective decision of IF and if one individual has to be blamed then its our Gul Mathaji for bringing the show down in their own scale... and you never know if the end of show was pre-planned by PH and SP.
