Unprofessional conduct leading to chaos VB: Pg 143 - Page 12

Its a shame all of you are arguing for a person who doesn't know you and will move on quite smoothly with his life after Nov 30th. But I will say this. This whole thing has played out on a very public forum, and you will see after effects. PHs will start signing contracts and binding their actors differently after this; mark my words. The name "Barun Sobti" which as of a few months back was synonymous with ASR will now be forever linked to this whole mess and a show shutting down. He will be remembered fondly for his portrayal of ASR, pre-movie leave. Thereafter he was simply going through the motions. Small PHs will deal with him in the future, but SP and anyone worth their salt will remember this. Any major producers or directors will think twice before signing him, and even then they will be skeptical. Things should have and could have been done differently here, but unfortunately they weren't. Don't know what his future will hold, but this move of his cost many their jobs, and will ultimately cost him something too. HE just doesn't know what yet; but when he does, he'll think back on all of this with regret I'm sure.

And even if he won in public voting whats harm in it...people like him so people vote for him..he works for people and people vote him...India's PM is on voting..so do not neglect junta...infact all famous actors in BW wins public award and they are given more importance...and in fact all award people knows that no one can beat SaRun in awards and sometimes they put these 2 names just to have maximum hits...

No awards are fully on votes...its all pre decided..they have list of people to whom they want to give awards

Well thank you. Your last line cleared up the fact that most award shows are staged and worth for crap. No need to bring in other actors. I didn't ask for all that nor was that the point.

My point in asking was bc people were using him winning awards as a reason to show his professionalism. The two things are unrelated.

How do you know that there is no gag order? Did the channel make any official statement and Barun contradict it?
I know several people who work two jobs trying to figure out what they want to pursue...not sure if I consider that two timing as long as they are doing whats expected of them...and as far as I know he showed up everytime he was asked!

And still i find it surprising that a channel like Star Plus can make 200 people jobless in a week and till now there is no protest/objection from a sinlge cast and crew calling it unfair.

It looks as if everyone was prepared for this.Because a channel like Star Plus will never take this action just because an actor is quitting.

Some obsessed fans certainly did. And I see the forum littered with messages like "No Sobti, No IPK". So yes, it is the collective effort of obsessed selfish fans. I wish they would have taken such a stand for a cause worthy a fight. But then saving a show and an actor is more important than Palestine or closer home helping a woman Sonali Mukherjee fighting for justice. Yes, you are right dear. Everything else is flimsy. Only the show and the actors are important. Nothing else matters.

As for jobs, they come dime a dozen these days. People are just waiting to employ and provide millions of people with jobs. There is no cut throat competition in the job market. The job market is absolutely blooming.

You mean he had to stick to the show till eternity just cause he got stardom from it 😆 ...and for me this show had no potential to go on for more than few days , infact what I saw since remarriage is just plain silly and stupid !! Thanks to all the Khushi lovers who did not want seperation , the show had much more potential with a separation track !!
