I want to apologize in advance if i am hurting anybody's feelings...

My intention is not to hurt you but to share something i know of the TV world...By no means am i trying to bring down your spirits

I read in some post that Rajan Singh said that Gul Khan is refusing to give Copyrights of Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon...

I just want all of you to know that once the concept is sold by the PH to a channel, it becomes theirs...

Which means that IPKKND's copyright is currently with Starplus and not 4 lions...

Which makes Rajan Singh's statement contradictory...If you have any doubt you can cross check with anybody, any friends, any person from the media if you know them about this...

This stays true for all shows...Once the concept is sold, once the show has started to role, everything is in the hands of the Channel, all final shots are called by them...

A recent example is the Life OK Show Saubhagyavati Bhava, it was produced by UTV Communications, but now its no longer theirs the Channel has hired another PH for the show...

All i am trying to say is that by no means is it possible that the PH has copyrights of IPK...Its 1000% with the Channel...

I just thought of pointing it out, so that in the protests, petitions, calls etc you are clear on this front.

Thanks for hearing me out.

Thank you very much for this clarification, and I mean it. This again brings all the rumors doing rounds into question.

@ dkatmala...

Yes the concept is Gul Khan's she is the one who came up with it..then her team joined and IPK was formed BUT thats like the staging part once the channel comes into the picture, once the concept is sold (read aired on a particularchannel) it becomes the channels Property...

They can do whatever they want with it... Its the Channels call ALWAYS
