Lovely post. You know what amazes me the most is, if it is pre-decided that the show is to end by this date (rather than the normal soaps that go on for years till the audience thins out), why waste time on irrelevant tracks like Shital and Bubbly (as you mentioned). Plan this precise storyline (like most of the English ones do) with the plots set out and execute it before moving to the next baby. Here you have all your plots laid out, excellent cast and crew; what are you going to achieve by ruining all of it; an absolute zilch. Had the show ended with style there would have actually been minimal outcry and more applauds.
Gosh reading the potential tracks compared to the way they handled the kidnapping track and so many other tracks, looked deliberate on their part. Every time there is an outcry by audience or cast due to their mismanagement they try to appease, but end up creating a further mess by leading us on (the examples materialise in the form of the Anjali track and the current off-screen mess self created).
