If nothing else, Gul Khan does have the ability to be spot on with her casting.

See for now I'm a huge BS fangirl who doesn't see the big picture. But maybe down the line if/when the craze dies out I may even like the new guy.

The way Gul says it, it seems like she compromised the story for Sobti.

What is she's inspired to write better with the new entry?

A good story line will ALWAYS rope in the audience. And forgeting the last few months, Gul is a great story teller.

She knows how to make her characters engaging, otherwise would we be this involved with Arnav and Khushi. I think not.

Great. Now I'm even more convinced IPK isn't ending.

Why do I always do this to myself?

As to the question someone asked who will watch it if Barun leaves.

I am right now not watching for 4 weeks and Barun is there.

I did not watch if for 4 weeks in between during the DKS track. Barun was there.

I watched it when went away to shoot the movie. Barun was not there.

Does it have anything to do with Barun, me watching or not watching. Hell No.

It has to do with story.

Why did I watch when Barun was not there. Story was not great. But what was there was strength in characters. How can you forget how Mami first doubted but came our guns blazing to support Kushi and help find Arnav. That was character growth. That was nice to watch. How could anyone forget the acerbic Mami bringing her jewelry to sell and hire a private investigator. That was a nice way to us to forgive her and admire the new characterization. How can you forget Kushi being strong and facing Shyam. Her gentle freindship with NK. Yes, stupid masala mami track etc was there, but most of the epsiodes, pushed the story forwards, a new Mami Kushi bonding was there, and there was something to look forward to.

Now, there is nothing to look forward to.

Many people who generate TRP also watch serials with similar outlook. As long as they can relate to the story, the heroin is showed as a strong individual no matter how many hurdles are thrown at her, the serial will win.

So I will watch it even if ASR is replace by someone else, as long as the story line is good and the acting is good. BAS.
