I know I am going to upset many people, but let me clarify I am and have always been Barun's fan.
This is the only show that I have watched till just recently when I have also started watching Pyaar Ka Dard Hai Meetha Meetha
The only reason that i started watching the new show was all this controversy.
I love Barun and always will
But I think what he has done is not right.
What would you all say if Sanaya had done that - decided that she cant complete her contract and wanted to take up new offers coming her way.
I am sure Sanaya also gets offers but she is committed to the show.
Barun should have waited a few months and then left when the show ended. He would have had all or blessings
But much as I love him, it has left a bad taste in my mouth.
Also his explanation of being tired. But Star Plus have been adamant that he has movie offers. And knowing showbiz I dont think any actor would just leave a popular show unless he had another better option.
Barun should have been honest with his fans.
How is he going to explain when soon we hear about him starting shooting in his new movie.
IPKKND was not going for that long, only just more than 350 shows. What about some shows that are still on after 800 or even 1000shows.
That is what TV is all about.
I wish Barun the best in all his endeavours.
But all this has made it so difficult for his costars, for Sanaya specially.
IF Sanaya had done this would the reaction of the forum have been the same, I dont know.
Barun has left and much as I am crying and feeling sad I am going to accept it
He is a grown man, an adult who has made his own decision and one that he does not want to change. So good luck to him.
Now pls think of Sanaya who i totally blameless and who is going to suffer with all this negative publicity.
I wish things would have stayed the same.
I love SARUN and would have been the happiest person.
But enough is enough.
Lets us all pls move on - even Barun wants us to do that and let him get on with his life.
