Guys some quick points as I am in a rush to go to work
But thought I will leave you with thoughts of this
Barun has not yet signed any movie. So chances are if negotiated with, he will stay (If he had signed we would know by now the way we did earlier. And no movie offer can be kept on hold month after month by a fresher no matter how popular he is on TV)
So clearly he wants something from SP and PH. May be it is the role/pay/something else which if given there is a chance of staying back
Star Plus and everyone knows that Barun and Sanaya make this show. ARHI make this show. Their love story makes this show. Anything goes wrong here it wont work. So chances are they will do whatever to keep the pair intact.
Even if Barun does leave, chances are the show will end and not have a new man in Khushi's life. Because by now Star knows people will never accept it. Refer point 2 for why that is so.
But all these apart my gut feel says
A show this popular
A couple this popular
An actor this popular
will not be allowed to disappear without a fight
So SP will try

I dont know if petitions can influence someone's decision
But if it means SP needs to hear how much we love the show and Barun
I will consider it depending on how things move
