We all know why Deepali and Akshay are quitting..its because they were made to stand like poles in the show..no story pr dialogues ...whom do you blame here of course its Gul who is responsible in story line and characterisation...they didnt spell it out but isnt it very clear its becos of her they are quitting...both of these have been very patient and didnt want to antagonise SP or PH and they also knew that quitting a popular show is not good..so they waited but their patience ran out and they put in the papers. If I just imagine myself in their shoes I would have quit long back..to hell with the popularity if you dont have a role to play in that.

I knew something was going on behind the scenes that prompted Barun to think about leaving. Knowing about Barun's character and personality, I don't think he is the type of person to make such a selfish decision if it is going to jeapordize, the show, affect his co-actors, and disappoint the fans. Regarding the news about Gul and the PH, I was really relieved when I learned about the possible reason for Barun to take such a decision. If fact, I feel proud of him for taking a stand and not accepting butchering of his character and diverting the story line in such an absurd way.

I partly agree partly disagree agreed on baruns part his bollywood dreams kind of started all this and these phatichar ph they took the lead after that got bored also got busy with theis new baby.and in donok ke boredom ke chakkar mein show ka satyanash ho gaya.

No its the other way round he is quitting because his role is sidelined and a new guy is coming into kushis life and ASR is made to go away with Sheetal killing the characters..this is guls startegy to end the show

But the question still remains unanswered - why is Barun Sobti leaving ?

Because he is getting movie offers, as simple as that. Didn't he himself said that in interviews?

But right from the start, either Gul or someone related to PH has stated that they had never envisioned the character of Payal - it just happened, so they kept it on.

If you think about it - you are getting paid to show up at a set, that's all.

Now if Daljeet quits because of chnges in track - that's understandable

And I don't know enough about how big Akash's role was supposed to be

it was going to be sidelined...i heared that,,,, Gul was going to make the future track like khushi falling for someone else and arnav getting closer to sheetal... So that trps will be low, and eventually SP will remove IPK... Thats why almost every actor is quitting...

Where did you get that? In Rajat Singh's fake tweet which some fan made up? Do you think the CVs are crazy to think like that? It is their show. Every body knows it's ASR and khushi that makes ipk work.They are bringing the other character because Barun is leaving, not the other way around. It's common sense. Think a little bit and you will get your answer.

IF HE IS DEMANDING FOR TOO MUCH...THEN?...DONT HE DESERVE IT?. WHEN THE "FRIENDS" ASKED FOR TO MUCH...THE PRODUCTION HOUSE GAVE THEM. WHY? BECAUSE THEIR WOULDNT BE A SHOW WITH OUT THEM. THESE SHOW MAKES A LOT OF MONEY SO THERE SHOULDNT BE A PROBLEM.

I totally agree wid this post. I never heard any bad things about Gul or 4 Lion. I know them since DMG days..thereafter MJHT. n don't forget that, KSG [DMG n now, QH] n SANAYA [MJHT n now, IPKKND] ,Drishti [DMG therafter,GEET] already worked wid them. If,they were unprofessional toh,woh kabhi 2nd time unke saath work nahin karte.

Actually,main problem is... Fans know the 'reality' but,don't want to accept in graceful way. 'Kisi aur' ko toh kuchh keh nahin sakte toh,PH/GUL is easy target for all. But,this is show-biz business... show must go on.
