Well, to be truthful, I love Arnav-Aarav bonding. During basketball match, I actually felt that Father-son bond. Lets forget about Sheetal for sometime and just admire this bonding. This is an OS dedicated to the Duo...and Khushi's love for them.
OS : My Champ
Arnav was awake...Khushi's hand wrapped around him as usual. He didn't sleep last night. No issue with Khushi. In fact, she was the one who cheered him up last evening when news of Aarav finally leaving, broke in RM. Arnav never told how disheartened he was with the news. Although, Aarav was never his son...but still the thoughts of him leaving, disturbed him within. All through the evening he was gazing at his laptop... admiring photos of basketball match...recapitulating skills of his "champ"..Yeah, "His Champ".
A tear drop fell from his eyes. He still hasn't gone and Arnav was already missing him. He slowly removed Khushi's arms from him and slowly opened the bedroom door, ensuring, that his movements doesn't disturb his wife's sleep. He walked through the lonely, dark corridors of Raizada Mansion and reached Di's room where his Champ was sleeping.
Anjali has woken up by that time and was caressing Aarav's head. Arnav knocked at the door and waited for her permission. She came and opened the door, and made way for Arnav to reach his champ, who was lost in his dream. Arnav noticed the wet eyes of Anjali, who like him cannot digest the fact that Aarav was finally leaving. Anjali somehow controlled herself and made her way to downstairs.
It was now Arnav and Aarav. Arnav made his way to the side where Aarav was sleeping and sat there silently, watching him. He didn't knew what he was watching in him. With Aarav's face, all the cherished memories started flashing in Arnav's mind, bringing tears back. He never cried like this for any child, but parting from Aarav was nothing more than a nightmare for him today. He raised his hands and bought them on Aarav forehead and started caressing it. After caressing for long he bent down and kissed his forehead.
" My champ", he whispered and quietly made his way to his room...unaware of the eyes that was gazing the duo for a such a long time... cherishing their bonding.
It was 8 am. Whole Raizadas were gathered on dinning table... gloom spread throughout the Shantivan. Arnav has taken a leave from office.. just to bid last goodbye to Angel of his life. Aarav came down, clutching his mother's hand and greeted everyone with his sweet smile. Arnav passed his forced smirk and requested him to sit beside him. He came near Arnav, who dragged chair for him, and stood there for a while.
"Please, kneel down for a while", Aarav requested. Arnav did, without any delay or any question. Suddenly, Aarav hugged him really hard ... his little eyes letting out all the emotion that he had for Arnav.
Arnav, a bit taken aback from this tender hug, now wrapped his arms around Aarav, crying like him. Whole Raizadas were crying seeing bonding of "awesome two-some", Khushi crying most, seeing her husband in pain. Sheetal, too was in tears. She was sure of the pain that she's going to feel , after parting from such a wonderful family. Even, HP cried that morning.
Finally, the time came when they had to part. Arnav, took care that Aarav carried his each and every medicine. He kept on instructing him almost about everything, his hands entangled with Aarav's. And Aarav nodding on everything like a son does with his father.
" Don't they look like Father and Son ", Anajli whispered to Naani , cherishing one the most beautiful sight on this earth.
" Okay, champ ! Its time to leave...don't forget me. Do miss me ! Bye and take care...otherwise.. " , Arnav said in serious, rather soft tone and made his way to upstairs, to hide his tears from everyone...Khushi , noticing her husband's pain.
Arnav was standing at the french door, staring at the pool. Khushi came and stood by his side. Arnav turned towards her and without any moment delay hugged her and let out every drop of tears that he has been holding since Aarav left. He kept on crying... with Khushi caressing him.
Suddenly, he noticed a little figure standing at their bedroom door...waiting for his turn to be hugged by him. He cleared his eyes and saw him...saw His AARAV..!!! He loosened Khushi from his hug and gave a confused expression. Khushi, smiled and made way for Arnav to reach his Champ.
Aarav has spread his little arms, ready for the hug. Without wasting any time Arnav waked towards his champ...knelt down...and hugged him hard...feeling his presence near him, crying and smiling simultaneously.
Arnav was thanking God for introducing Khushi to his life...who can do anything for her husband...who was the sole reason for Aarav's presence...who was the sole reason for Arnav's forever happiness.
NOTE:
You know ppl...if u look deeper, this is one the most b'ful episodes u r watching...sans Khushi's OTT's...Look back at basket ball match and I am Damn sure u r gonna smile. Just for a moment forget anything about Sheetal...just for a moment forget Aarav is sheetal's son...just for a moment imagine Aarav as ArHi's son... Feel the magic of their relation...one of the purest relation.
