I don't think many people even remember that Khushi has a brother who she was separated from and I think if her brother were to make an entry I think they might make him a parallel to Anjali

If ASR didn't have an affair with Sheetal and she was just his 'friend', then the only other possibility is that ASR's dad is alive and well and with a Voila! new wife and ASR-lookalike kid! And wants his wife and kid to make room in the hearts and minds of the Raizadas before the real Malik shows up.

Or maybe ASR's dad DIDN'T marry Sheetal and that's why Sheetal tracked ASR down, to get some kind of recognition from the family before she spills the beans.
