Yah Vee.Didn't the Harvard brain notice Sheetal's sirname?A single mom calls herself by her maiden name but names the child Singh Raizada?

Vee, that's the whole point ... only if he had a physical relationship with Sheetal does the question of a child even arise ... or the doubt ... if he clarifies to Khushi straight away, or later if she confronts him with her doubts ... that he never slept with Sheetal at all, then the issue doesn't arise. Considering that he was in a relationship with La, and was ready to live in with her, I would assume that his relationship with Sheetal was similar ... in which case how come he hasn't even thought of the possibility of Aarav being his?

So only once it's clarified then the next step comes ... is it his son or not? And again, it does beg the question ... if Sheetal wasn't his only fling, could there be more little Aaravs floating around? 😕

I have no problem with his physical relationships, but I don't want Aarav to be his son for that reason ... if there is one Aarav, there could be more ...
If he had affairs but was careful all through, I would be happier. And just one or two affairs please ... any more than that and he becomes a womanizer ... and ASR was not that. He was too focussed on his goal for one thing ... Sheetal is explainable because she was a loner like him so they got attracted to each other.

Honestly, like you said, "showing us what they want to show us", if after all this he was indeed 100% his son after a 100 DNA tests that were not botched, I think it would screw up ASR to quite an extent. Because he unintentionally walked away from his own, and he'll go into a peetal bartan... and we'll have Bankeylal's ex- girlfriend going all self-sacrificial and the fandom ripping each other's hair out.

But, I do like the second possibility, it can be twisted a lot. Either way, what will come out is that they did sleep with each other, I think that is the bigger of the issue here, because it comes out to everyone and then there's the awkward turtle in the room. Aarav won't be his son. It will be the damage his past relationships have the potential of doing..
Like you I think he was born from a fling, maybe she even married him and could never love him, or he's dead, or he was abusive. In fact, who knows, after being caught she may just say her husband was abusive and blah blah so she wanted an escape from him.
I just want her to leave once the truth is out.. any of the other jargon comes along and this story will get boring..

Yep Sugar ... that's why I feel the fact that he did have an affair has to come out ... then only will any conflict arise at all. Not the fact that Aarav is or isn't his son, but the fact that his past relationships might have the power to undermine his present. So I would be much happier if Aarav is not his son ... it makes for too messy a situation ... the chances of Khushi going into sacrificial avatar are there, plus Khushi's own hurt ... if that happens, she has to live with a stepchild the rest of her life, and a living reminder of Arnav's past.

It's different when the past is dead and buried and consists of faceless women, but when she has to live with that woman even on the outskirts of her life, as the mother of her husband's child ... it would strain any marriage. So a Sheetal who is struggling with unrequited love for Arnav and has reared her son from a different man to be like Arnav, gels better with me. And that way Sheetal leaves after this track is over ... and Arnav sees Khushi's insecurities and pain surfacing just because of the person he WAS. That conflict and emotional track will be Arhi centred and be much better to watch!

Soul sister thoughts...just don't want anymore phools floating around.And just saying...the ones who are "loners" are deep...you never know what's going on their mind...maybe ASR parted ways with her but she could not accept it and as you said earlier,she may have had an affair/marraige on the rebound resulting in Aarav but given her ASR obsession,her affair/marraige failed.She reared her son as a copy of ASR...children are malleable...you can train them accordingly.She was waiting for an oppurtunity to strike and now she has. As per Mishti's tweet in Twitter,Sheetal has come to disturb the married life of A and K.So itis a fact that Aarav is not his child but a fake.Lets see how Khushi matures.Khushi is a dutiful wife,daughter,daughter-in-law,a wonderful sister,sister-in-law,a loyal friend but we have not seen Khushi the lover.This track is to make her realise that besides being all those mentioned above and a wife,she is also the mate of The Arnav Singh Raizada...the lioness to his lion...so go Khushi...get your man.

Congrats Riya for making it to the "ASR list".. I would have thought you would have thudded there but I see you making a brilliant post :-)

Thud va we! Seems Maggie ( neeta ) made it there too!

The dots that Khushi is joining are all planted ones... all of them could be taught -- Mother is mini ASR so some of these could have been inherited by her.

Also see Arnav's shaatir dimag ( not an urban legend !) has not connected these dots so far. So unless it is MIA , all is well and the kid is not his!

The kid brings an additional complication into the relationship. I also read of the possibility of multiple given the number of girlfriends he mentoned ( it was in jest wasn't it 😉). Things are going to get tough for Khushi ... she has dealt with a lot and this will be another test for her... I don't think Arnav will do anything except deny everything or say something like "we were seeing each other".. so she has to dig out the facts here.

Givent that IPK does not take the ghisa pita route and the fact that Sheetal seems to NOT want to linger around RM , it could be that the kid is just an ASR copy as his mother admired ASR from college... no relation... and Khushi's overactive imagination fills in the blanks and makes jalebis/rangolis with all of those dots!

As for Khushi's rangeen past... anyone other than Shyam is not of any consequence to Arnav ... banke lal --- you don't stand a chance😉
