Raj and Simran's love saga touched us like no other and DDLJ went on to make history...Arnav and Khushi prem kahani had the same effect on us...The stories are not similar and the characters r as different as chalk and cheese but the love between the couples-Raj/Simran and Arnav/Khushi is the same...the soul touching kind...Such love stories are almost nonexistent in real life(though the optimist in me hopes there r ppl out there who hav such love stories)..so when we see such things played out on screen, we grab it with both our hands, legs and with whatever we can and most importantly, we hug them with our souls!...When I joined this forum, I was so happy to see references to Friends, Harry Potter, Grey's Anatomy etc etc...I thought with a warmth in my heart "they r ppl like me!"...So I for one understand why forum is in such uproar over this current track...Imagine Raj, who was quite the playboy before he met Simran, having a kid from one of his past flings and being confronted with it!...OMG..the thought itself is disastrous...but now we r confronted with such a possible hearbrking scenario in IPKKND...

A section of the forum including me (the emotinal ones) is heartbroken even at the thought of Arnav being with another woman than Khushi...When we see Sheetal and Arnav together on screen, even though it is mere speculation at this time, we r bombarded with mental images of both being initmate and it is sheer agony...if that is not enough, we hav a walking talking proof in the form of Aarav to remind us of the initmacy...even though again it is mere speculation at this time...the mind is a strange thing...it doesnt hear the voice of reason and logic like it is just a serial, they r just characters, this is just speculation etc...it follows its own path...a depressing path it is at this point in time...

Another section of forum(the logical cool-headed ones) exclaims how cud u even think that arnav was a virgin!!...ok fine...but we dont need the information shouted from rooftops..we dont need constant reminders of the fact that Arnav was into random flings before khushi happened to him...which is what the new track is doing to us...the intensity of the love story is pared down when a past fling along with a kid happens to the story...blasphemy!...I was okay with a track which went like Sheetal in the past was infatuated with Arnav and made reentry now and plots to get him by creating rift between couple...somehow the "arnav may hav fathered the kid" is a big time dampner for an intense love story like IPKKND...Believe me, i feel like my breath is being choked out of me everytime i watch this new track...and I know there are many frnds here in this forum who feel the same...we r the dreamers looking for the perfect love story and we dont wnt it to be blemished by a past fling raising its ugly head now...

Waiting for unfolding of the track itself is proving to be quite a torture now howmuchever I try to remain positive...I hope for all our sakes that it proves to be 100% better than what we expect...CVs hav surprised us many times and i am anticipating for them to do it again to us and for us to go "wow CVs ..we didnt see that coming"...

The emotinal ones and logical ones do agree on one point and that is WE DONT WANT AARAV TO BE ARNAV'S KID AND WE THINK IT IS ONLY AND ONLY KHUSHI'S HAQ TO BEAR AND RAISE ARNAV'S KID/KIDS...right frnds? so let us raise our collective voice and declare it!
