Last episode left me speechless' what was that?

Sheetal and her weird son, I can take. She didn't expect ASR to be married, nice touch. Because ASR was never the marrying kind. That was good. But then ASR is shown to be comfortable with the child and talks comfortably with him; that was a big blooper. ASR is never comfortable around kids. Cast your mind back to this time last year. The Navratri celebrations and Kanya Pooja when he made an almighty fuss' then how stand-offish he was with Bubbly and the kids at GH; the only time was when he relented a little with the small guy during the Shaitan and sundari story; but he was just caught up in the flow at the time- even then he was restrained; but yesterday- he was all toothy grin and small talk- WHAT THE!!!

The Arnav-Khushi squabble & the aftermath:-

The squabble was good. And ASR getting Khushi to listen to him was also enjoyable. Got to see a bit of the flirty ASR and I liked it. Both the kitchen scene and the poolside scene. But again the body doubles were glaringly obvious. Of course BDs are needed; no one is about to fault you for that. But you see, they are called "Body Doubles" for a reason. They must resemble the actors at least by 80%. What you give us are poor "stand ins" and they grate on the eyes. On top of that, they pay scant regard to the hairstyle and accessories of the "Stand Ins" so that they are glaringly obvious. It put me off big time.

The mum's garden scene:

The less said, the better. It was cheesy and uncalled for. ASR is the "Guardian Figure" here. Khushi is the adorable and gullible young fool he fell in love with. Maintain the status quo. What is the need to turn her into super-woman? Why the need for ASR to bow down in front of her? Please, she ain't no saint, and he ain't no devil. Both are good, both have their greys. They are both living, breathing, real people. Show us real. Give us real. If we want what u showed yesterday, we'll go watch SRK and Rani in their temple scene in Kuch Kuch Hota Hai. Khushi goofs up, ASR comes to the rescue; he cleans up the mess and gives her an earful, she pouts and clams up, he brings her about in his flirty style. That much, the writers had got right. But when it was brought out on screen, it was pathetic. Sorry to say, but pathetic. I am also sorry, I sound so stringent, but it hurts to see a beloved show going to the dogs this way.😭 I do not intend to hurt the sentiments of any, nor to wound their sensibilities. If I have done so, I humbly beg your pardon.😊 Also, my views are my own, and in no way reflect the opinions or POVs of my other friends who post on the IP Adda Thread. Apu all I can say is welcome to the current world of Indian hindi soaps.. Don't lament on BD's the current balance sheet of the cost v/s investment on IPK reads profits should be higher every quarter do whatever necessary to cut costs..😆

Ok..enough of the rant...Some things that caught my attention:

Thoughts to ponder:

• Sheetal is mean...She does not greet Khushi when our Sanka devi happily says "namaste"...she does not say "Thank you" to her...she looks shocked, dissapointed and miffed when Arnav introduces Khushi as his wife...that look of hers to khushi makes me want to remove her from their lives...And because I cant do that, I have to sit out and "patiently" watch her causing problems in their lives.. I do not want to be a pessimist, neither want to just "Assume" that Sheetal will cause trouble...But I know this, feel this...This is where the storyline is headed...I didnt comment anything yesterday coz i wanted to see how this would play out..how she she would react...And today I see her reactions which have confirmed my suspicion...
  
  
• I have already started waiting for the day when she says something outrageous to Khushi, something that makes khushi feel that she doesn't fit into Arnav's world...and Arnav comes to know about this...I want to see a blazing ASR who shows this woman her place in his life..also who tells her what is Khushi's place in his life...I so want to see that Defeated, angry, hurt look on Sheetal's face...Call me cold, sadist...Just 1 day and I already want her out! Sorry, but my love for this pair makes me this...
  
  
• I also know that if the story goes this way, we will see a stronger, determined, jealous, possessive khushi..who will show Sheetal the fire Arnav so very much loves...I am waiting for that as well..😊
  
  
• The kid likes Khushi..I dont why but I felt like that..
  
  
• Arnav doesn't show any significant reaction seeing Sheetal...He reacts like anyone would react after meeting a college friend...I am happy!!😊
  
  
• I get why Arnav is angry at Khushi..If I were him, I too would have reacted this way...But somewhere I dont get that why does this normal reaction from Arnav leads to Khushi reacting the way she did..I know Arnav's anger will infuriate her more..its just that I felt she went a little too overboard with it..Maybe I need to watch the epi again, just to see if it is justified to feel like this...😕
  
  
• What I loved the most in the epi today is the Kitchen dialogue..When he tells her that when he looks at her,really looks at her, she gets disarmed!!😆 Now, a line like that reminds me that they are newly weds...Barun and Sanaya, individually were good!!
  
  
• Also I loved the "Anger" mode of ASR once again..I have been missing that terribly..No wonder, I was smiling when he ties the duppatta on her mouth and eyes and makes her sit in the car! That is the ASR I love!!😛
  
  
• The traffic policeman rather let Arnav go without checking his licence.. than hear the nok-khok..I dont know why, but I found that scene funny..The look on that guy's face was precious...But why would Khushi insist on her being kidnapped..What if the guy had taken her seriously and really thought Arnav to be a kidnapper?...Aapas ki baat ko aapas mein hi rehne dena chahiye...but probably this childish nature is what Arnav loves about her!! For me, I am not too sure though😕😆
  
  
• When she is sitting in the car and asking him to untie the dupatta, her hands are not tied...why khushi doesnt open it herself? 😆Ye sanka devi bhi na??😆
  
  
• He takes her to his "sacred" place to tell her she is a better person than him. He acknowledges the heart of gold she has, the passion to help people, the courage with which she fights for what she seems right, her total selfless nature...He once accused her of being "dheela character"..and today he appreciates the "sanskaar" she has and is humbled by that... nicely done..liked it...
  
  
• But to tell honestly, the fact that he had to "sar jhukao" was a little weird for me! Reminded me of "Kuch kuch hota hai"..I felt ajeeb then, I feel ajeeb today!!
  A complete "filmy" dialogue coming out of ASR is just strange!!
  
  
• And thank God Khushi says it...I literally sighed in relief!!...
  
  
• Oh..Almost forgot!!😆... Loved the way Arnav tells Khushi to Not just jump into everyone's problems and call the police the next time...This is what is needed...With her, anger only makes matter worse..And this is something Arnav knows very well by now...😆..So he tells her lovingly to let the right people handle things...I liked this part.. A natural development of the character and the relationship! Good...😳
  
  
• The family moments these days look unnatural to me...why does everyone just keep sitting and doing nothing...and where is Akash??And why is Anjali not sad, angry,hurt..even remotely...She got over her MC in a blink of an eye and now Shyaam is out of her mind in a flash!! 😕
  
  
• The only respite I get is when Mami retorts something..Like the flavor of ice cream today..it brought a smile to my face!
  
  
• I see I have ranted more and analyzed less..Sorry, couldnt control myself..Today, the epi could have been much more interesting, it had all the elements...The dialogues esp were very good...but for me, the impact was lost because of the BDs...more so because they were so glaringly obvious...Atleast they can find a guy whose build resembles Barun...or a lady whose hair even remotely touches Sanaya's hair length... Again, no offense to the actors portraying them, its just that the scene looses its charm when it becomes soo obvious that the main leads are not present!!

Nevertheless, I hope that this track unfolds in the right manner...which helps Arnav khushi build upon this relationship..That Sheetal acts as a trigger which will bring them closer than before...that we see a jealous khushi clearly marking her territory..and protecting Arnav if need be...that Sheetal unknowingly makes Khushi's pure nature and her good qualities more obvious to Arnav and in turn solidifies the fact that he chose the right woman!!😃

CVs need to really manage the show better ...its like each day somethign falls below standard and a fantastic episode becomes mediocre because of this..its either editing or direction but today it was the use of BDs glaringly.

That scene replica of KKHH with Arnav bowing before his wife...her self lessness and passion to help others...though she is crazy many times..this quality of putting others before self comes to very few people and and rare these days. Somehow the scene came out more in favour of Arnav than kushi...I dont know whether its because we have been so irritated by kushis behaviour in the past few days that Arnav's action looked so adorable and his quality of appreciating her giving her the due respect ..such a straight forward action from him made me go in awe of his character there.

But does he know the same quality of his wife will land him in trouble the coming days..Arnie how early you spoke...what will you say when she offers you in a platter to the 'Other woman'..tsk tsk. There is also this irritating innocence of trusting others blindly in kushi which will be a bane in their lives! I so hope they dont follow this route of self sacrifice by kushi...but all the dialogues of selflessness and "hum kahin nahin jaane wale' all were pointing out towards a seperation..I would love to see a seperation track but looks like as usual the CVs will bring it in the most irritating way!

I loved the Arhi scenes...that push and pulll..haiyye we have been missing it the past few days..and the car scene with the traffic police reminded me of the previous one. Can we please have such scenes of Arhi without BDs pleej!😛

Sheetal...was clearly unhappy to meet Arnie's wife and the boy is stressing too much to act like ASR...and and and kushi is coming out too loud these days so Director sir ...Please cut it!😆

Some or the other is quitting IPK each day ..Pathetic management by the PH..but I am glad Akshay is leaving he hardly had any role these day. But I will miss the bromance scenes we used to get once in a while. My best wishes to Akshay Dogra!

A note to BS: Please guy go and get a shave...Haircut we have given hope for that but atleast a trim by a shaver is a must ...its seriously getting on the nerves to see such unkempt looks. And somebody throw that blue dress of kushi😡 thats the worst of the lot...I wonder why they use some of the better ones very rarely...her shagun dress and the date dress all can be recyled and we wouldnt mind!😛

loved to read u zuzana😊.. I loved the return of the SUV ..as if it was a character...😆 guess I am sanki as sanka devi... IPk episodes always have glitches.. I now look at them as the hallmark of IPK viewing. if I find an episode where there isn't any major blooper I will seriously question myself if I am at all watching IPK😛
