First let me clear something, I don't believe that the kid is actually Arnav's. Not much of a spoiler believer.
Now coming to you post, I dont think it's wrong even if Arnav had a kid. What's so wrong about it? We established during the relationship he had with Lavanya, that they are physically involved! Why else would Arnav insist that they share a room? He is what 28? And are we actually believing that he is a virgin? Oh come on!

This kid could be anyone, for all we know! Hold your horses till we know for sure.
