No...really...what did we expect...that a small town middle class girl meets a filthy rich, suave and sophisticated hunk...they fall in love...and they live happily ever after...????
If we thought this...then we were bound to be disappointed...coz one of the major reasons we loved this show was that it was close to reality...and yes buddies...reality sometimes is unpalatable...indigestible...we want to run and hide from it...coz its harsh and cruel...
The disgusting reality...there is a gulf...a huge gulf...between the big time ASR and a small town khushi...in the way they talk...they walk...they dress...they think...their hobbies...their life styles...and no...just coz they fell in love...this cannot be ignored...its too big and too real to be swept under the carpet...its like an elephant sitting in a corner...
The cvs in their own ridiculous way...are maybe highlighting their differences..( a debatable point)...but putting that aside...can we just imagine if in reality...such a couple does exist...how gut wrenchingly difficult ...how extremely trying such a match made in heaven can be...probably feels like hell to both the partners...when they have to adjust and accommodate at every step..such marriages don't happen in real life...and if they do...they are doomed from the start...only a couple...truly...madly and blindly in love can carry off this relationship...(and most probably only in fiction)...yes we live in a fool's paradise...
We wince...we cringe...when we feel khushi...is naive...gauche...unsophisticated..loud...and when we think she makes a fool of herself...when she puts her foot in the mouth..but its we who need a reality check...hey this is what happens...no...don't get me wrong...all small town girls don't behave like this in such circumstances...work space or movie theatres...but she is exuberant...and she is some one who lives in the moment...totally impulsive...and whimsical...and this makes the matter worst...
Another example is Payash..payal again a small town girl felt utterly and totally out of depth with akash's world...totally overwhelmed...and inadequate...and tried to cope with it in her way and failed miserably...that was payal...and this is khushi...one resorted to chameli ka tel..kaajal and high heels...the other is resorting to a psuedo hollywood farce... they have different ways of handling the same situation...but the feeling remains the same...of trying to belong to a world that is just not theirs...
All I can say is...ASR and Arnav..both will be required to make this marriage work...ASR's firm iron hand in the velvet glove and Arnav's infinite patience with his loved ones...and on the other hand Khushi will have to temper herself down...yes...that's the last thing they both want...but the world around them will not let them live in peace otherwise...
CVs...never ever do this again...we and arnav can only be so forgiving...we love Khushi too much ..even more than him..to bear this...and work places are sacred...everywhere...please keep in mind that your show has attracted a multitude of working professional women nationally and internationally...they don't watch this keeping logic at bay...please keep in mind the tastes of your niche audiences if nothing else...
The only redeeming scene...their make up...their pure love that shone through this escapade...literally saved your skin...

I love posts from you 🤗 glad to see you doing so much better and posting <3

I loved the episode, even loved Khushi;s antics because I understand the girl she is and her heart is in the right place. I did think that the place wasn't right though.

I don't think they are trying to show how they'll bridge those differences, because that part of the relation has been already worked on I guess, they have already lived so many months together now even when they had issues and so on.

I think these are just some moments between them before they start with another track in the future :)

Yeah so much has happened in so many months, that small things about a normal relation haven't been able to be touched upon. So I guess for now the show is about those. Enjoying it 😆

Fabulous post.

I feel that I am missing the point of todays episode.

If Cvs are trying to show ( although I seriously doubt it) as you say trial and tribulations of the reality and love conquering all then they must be applauded.
If they are trying to show awakening of Khushi into a passionate woman as some of the post are claiming then also they must be applauded. And we must wait for the tracks to unfold.

But Cvs must hurry up as I am getting impatient because I am missing the passion/ attraction between them. They are not showing any good night scenes or waking up together ... nothing. They might as well still be living seperately. I am not talking about 'IT' scenes just some natural cosy scenes that every married couple shares. And this is couple who have gome through a lot and have just found eah other.

good post...👏

I guess all of us have too much expectation from this show and now makers are falling short to meet even the standards set by themselves...😕

If you look episodes such as today's as if you are watching some keep your brain home kind David Dhavan movie with ZERO expectation then the disappointment is minimum😳

In the very first episode itself they had symbolically hinted through the helicopter scene that there is a 'dharthi aasmaan ka pharakh' between the two. Hence there is bound to be a difference in the wavelength of thought and approach.. However I personally felt that it could have been portrayed better by the cvs. They could have avoided the presence of clients while Khushi performed her act; I guess that would have suited all types of audience. Lovely post😃

I am totally at sea here too...no clue as to what is brewing...and my guess is we will have some mishaps...some fights...some issues...which will eventually lead to arnav deciding to go on a honeymoon trip with his wifey..with whom he just cannot have any peace with the family around... About this post...i had to draw some attention to the reality of this couple...the way some ppl expect khushi to become an ideal stepford wife just cause she married ASR..prompted this...
And about the loss of passion...its weird...unnatural...for a man who never missed a single opportunity to catch her alone and try and be passionate...this thanda thanda cool cool phase...makes zero sense...man they are a newly married couple...whats with the enforced celibacy thingy...beats me!!!
