An episode which we had been waiting for over a year, the anticipation building wit each incident, questionin wat wud finally make Anj believe the truth about Shayam, wat wud make her come out of her SKD, Anj who has overlooked everything said about Shayam, chalked it up to misunderstandings regardless of the fact it was said by family, family who love her beyond belief, who wud do anything 4her, wud go to any lengths 4her happiness, she wanted to believ in Shayam and the perfect world she had created, she swallowed all excuses in wantin to believe that Shayam loved her so much so that the fact that he kidnapped her beloved brother and was planning on killing him was overlooked. I have said 4a while now that she wud need to hear and c the truth of Shayam's reality for herself 4Shayam himself and that is how she learned the truth today.
Where to start, Abhaas Mehta's acting was fab, they cud have given ASR a new suit, thou I suppose he is more concerned wit Di and probably picked the first suit that came to hand, he still looked good, K looked beautiful, serial ki dunya hain costume change within a second hotay hain.
The episode starts of where yesterdays left off wit Shayam hearing the sounds of the baby, scaring him, he gets a moments respite wen it stop, the relief was palpable, the quite doesn't last long, cue the ultrasound dvd & the crying baby again which terrifies Shayam, he can't turn it off nor can he tune it out, he rushes out of the room & bumps into Anj, who has been his shield, has always protected him, loved him unconditionally, blindly to the detriment of everything else, that protection is not goin to b there much longer, wat will he do then.
NK started it wit a clear warning of wat Shayam was goin to witness " Ek aisa dhamaka jisse aap dekhe hil jayeenge" I liked it wen Shayam&Anj go to sit down on the sofa, ASR walks, stops & is shown standing, lookin over Anj, lookin out for her, he will always continue to protect her, he takes a seat next to her, he will always b there 4her, b her strength wen she needs it. Once again BS doesn't need dialogues, his eyes r enough, his pain at not bein able to keep his Di's world intact, not bein able to protect her from wat is comin, knownin it needs to b done, but also knows the sufferin Anj wil go thru,every emotion was clearly visible
Anj is dressed in bridal red, like on the gohd bharai, both days takin a different dream away.
K starts narrating the story of how Anj-Shayam met, parts of it reminded me of ASR-K's journey "Na DM nai khabar di, na uppar waale ne telegram, dooh jeevan saathe takrai, q chalte phirte saariyam, aankain mile, gul khile, phir dil he dil main woh mile, woh phir mile, aur phir mile, milte milte dil mile.
usne kaha mujhe hai pyar, isne kaha intezaar - Shayam declared his love, and Anj was waiting 4her raj kumar and still is.
They start talkin about the baby and Shayam is about to get up and leave but Anj stops him, she wud have thou he was upset remembering the baby not realising the real reason.
NK comes as Shayam the dhol vala, makes his way on stage and then carries on off stage to where Shayam is seated, wat a physiological play, keepin the pressure on, keepin the intensity, keepin Shayam unbalanced, tensed, it added to the whole atmosphere while the videos r playing and K narrates the events. And they r there 4all to c, the tablets, the glass the electricution. Shayam true to his character, the darting eyes lookin 4a way out, an excuse anything to use. Akash got something to do, hip hip hooray, his expressions wen he was stopped Shayam from leaving bang no.
Once again true to her character Anj doesn't want to c any more nor hear any more, but ASR makes her her listen and c out the final act of Shayam electricuting here.
The voice over was nicely done, apt dialogues, liked the rhymin. loved how thruout the performance ASR kept looking at Anj to c her reaction, how she was holding up, liked the hand on her to give her strength and later arms around the shoulder, bein the supportive brother knowin the shock she wud b gettin.
Wen ASR got up to confront Shayam, K took over hip place next to Di, she is an extension of him.
Shayam still tries to talk his way out of it, and out of frustration blurts out the truth wen ASR accuses him of tryin to kill Anj, and ASR expression gotcha! No turning back 4rm that now. wen ASR y he did it, Shayam closes his eyes, centres himself and lets the real Shayam out, and wat a show he put on.
Y were they all shocked wen Shayam said he bought her Dadi back, Dadi had already confirmed that wen ASR confronted her.
Shayam signature tune diya ho is back and I loved it.
Shayam's reality has now been shown to Anj which was the plan, but this shud not b the end of Shayam, there r many other deeds that need to come to lite and wit Anj knowing truth and no longer protecting Shayam wud love to c a ruthless ASR no holds barred.
The precap seems like Khushi, Anj & Shayam r on the first floor wen slapgate occurs while everyone else is downstairs, loved Akashs little smirk wen he sees that, shall have to tune in tomorrow to c wat it holds but as someone once said sapno ki dhunya main rehna hai acha, kyon ki aasli dhunya main sirf dil toot te hai.
