Bro-Sis..Duo - Beautiful relationship:

• This is poignant scene today and I would say well thought scene, where they are trying their best to redeem Anjali back. Are they?? Not totally yes but a stepping stone indeed.
• Touching scene with Arnav asking his Di to tie the Rakhi to seek strength from his Di so that he can destroy the evil from her life. And also at the same time telling her and re-assuring her that her happiness is still most important for him and he will do everything to protect her and her happiness.
• From Arnav side it was brilliant and it was beautiful and how a brother strives for her sister happiness and alwayzz protects her was depicted so beautifully. And BS subtle acting and that voice modulation and expressions elevated the scene to next level for me👏👏
  
• From Anjali side..to be honest, I kind of lost whenever she says something nowadays. Earlier it used to go and touch my heart, but now it kind of disconnected. How can a person be so delusional??
• "Zindagi mein aisa Kabhi ho ki maine aapko chott pahunchaaayii..."..."aisa nahi ho sakta...ho hi nahi sakta"...oh Anjali...come on speak the truth when ur chotey is so emotional and straightforward. I was mainly disconnected of this dialogue...she was indeed hurt or may be atleast upset when chotey thrown her hubby out of house without any proof. She also felt that after marriage..she kind of felt that she is not been taken care by his chotey as pehle...then how can you say "aisa ho nahi sakta.."???
• CVs plzz tell me...understood you changed track from that snake thrown out of house and miscarriage stuff, but when u r connecting dots it shld be clean.. I wld have loved if she had said something like " hum jaante hain chotey..ki aap muje jaan poochke kabhi choth nahi pahunchaayi...humeh aap pe bharosa hain ki aap jo bhi karte hain humaari khushi ke liye kartein hain"..something like that wld have worked as earlier they showed dilemma of Anjali thinking of no proofs against her hubby and also cannot say that her chotey is wrong.
• She hugging Khushi..hoye kab se ye dilema hain mera mann mein that what Snake had told Anjali that she believes that "He is misunderstood by her family and yet she welcomes Khushi with whole heart".
• Until this is cleared for me I think I will not be able to connect to it and redeeming Anjali in eyes of viewers will be an uphill task.

Arhi - Krishna and Arjun

• Thinking about this since you pointed it to geeta verses. For me Khushi is not krishna and ASR is not Arjun...they are constantly interchanging their places .
• "Na pyaar jataa dushamn se...jaao Yudh karo..."..they are saying to each other when one gets weakened due to relationships since 2 days.
• Each one coming to others support..when one becomes weak and shear down. When one feels weak the other will become the strength.
• The way Khushi consoled Arnav or the way Arnav did her favorite things to jst bring back smile on her face as she was tensed up with all this whole shyam fiasco. The way he held her trembling hand today ensuring that everything will be alright.
• In Anjali's room too playing exactly same...when Arnav forgot Khushi remembered when Khushi misplaced Arnav corrected it. They are for each other and working as a perfect team.
• Bas that newly wed couple romance is missing😆...hopefully when Snake is thrown out we will get that.

• Jab wahi cheez hum pe aaye to darr lagta hain...😆😆. How dare he shouts nowdays on poor ranishahiba ...how dare he😡

Perfect title Priya...! As you pointed out IPK is also about Anjali-Arnav relationship, other than the Arnav-Khushi lovestory. A very unique, beautiful brother sister relationship which was always portrayed as more of a mother-son relationship before it got lost in the 'Shyam lotao andolan" track.

The brother Arnav stands at a crossroad where if he didn't do anything, Anjali would be hurt especially after he came to know about Shyam triggering the miscarriage but he also knows that the path of revelation of Shyam's true character will leave Di devastated. He chooses to follow the righteous path to fulfill his lifelong promise to his sister to protect her and her happiness. He couldn't protect his Momma, but his Di he will. He knows that though the truth will initially shatter her, but it is necessary for her safety and happiness in the long run to open her eyes to the evil personified hiding behind the mask of smooth talker, lovey dovey husband of hers. He also knows from previous experience that they have to prove the extent of Shyam's atrocities as Anjali would rather believe in Shyam's lies than his faults as that will restore her bubble of perfect world. So he goes to get Di's blessing for the biggest battle of a brother for his sister.

It cues in one of the best brother -sister scenes of IPK to date...Barun excelled in the scene depicting a brother's predicament to the dot...every bit of voice breaking, initial struggle to make eye-contact with a blissfully happy Di, the unshed tears, the clenched jaw,gulps while getting purposeful as this was as much a conversation with himself as it was with Di and then almost breaking down after Anjali said "aisa ho hi nahin sakta" to his " Di agar zindagi mein aisa kabhi hua ke main aapko chot pauchayaee..." and trying to recover and tell her to have confidence in him; each emotion enacted with flawlessness! An emotional scene where the innocence of Anjali and the trying hard not to fall apart Arnav just yanks at our heart. As an audience I can relate to this Anjali more than the one she was turned into around the miscarriage time..Daljjet portrayed the perfect Anjali as a woman who's gullible, having blind faith in her husband...but one with golden heart.

Isn't it ironic that it was after her last wedding anniversary that Anjali had 'blackmailed' Khushi into Arnav's life which led to them to falling in love and this anniversary they have to bring her face to face with the true color of her love, which will break her heart. Life sometimes is too cruel.



When Arnav struggles, gets emotional, Khushi's there to rescue him like she did today at the end of Di-Chotte conversation and when she stresses out thinking of the situation at hand, it's impact on Di as well as Arnav...he silently reaches out and holds her hand in assurance. Together they have formed a husband wife unit where one lifts the other one when necessary...where communication is through eye contacts, hand holding or subtle touches and with a common purpose. A true Yin-Yang couple who complete each other.

Shyam's twitching days are over, maybe that's why Abhaas went overboard with the last scene😉😆 btw how gullible can a woman get? A wedding anniversary gift with a price tag attached...instead of pitching a fit like a normal wife, she pays him an extra 2 lakh😲... for what?!? the thought? Sheesh Anjali what happened to Arnav's"anjali di hai sabse sayani"?

Who knew I would LOVE Shyamu in a precap? I've been in lau ❤️with the guy since Arnav-Khushi's wedding...and the precap made me go dhak dhak😉😳😆

A slow but steady progression towards the final unmasking of the evil...the evil that has lingered on for too long. His list of sins is too long and this revelation was long due and I really hope all his sins are brought to the front. Shyaam has managed to fool Anjali for 5 odd years. Loved the interaction between the brother and sister. Arnav who is well aware of the extent of damage that has been done and that will be done was trying to gain some strength and seek Anjali's blessings before he could wage the battle. He was apprehensive yet he knew revealing Shyaam's truth was imperative. I loved the way Arnav was reassuring Anjali that her happiness was of utmost importance to him. Anjali was as blind as ever...when she told him that he would never hurt her, I was immediately reminded of the past. Has she completely wiped out the entire throwing Shyaam out of the house fiasco from her mind?😲 Wasnt she hurt because she felt Arnav was giving Khushi more time and attention?😲

Other thoughts:

1. Shyaam spent 3 lakhs on that mangalsutra😲 If he had gifted Anjali the one she was already wearing then at least I could have understood but the gift😲.

2. I didnt like the way Anjali gave him money...she spends her brother's hard earned money like water. Shameless to the core...he again took money from her.

3. Shyaam's final twitch had me 🤣🤣🤣

4. Shyaam connected the shock to the one that Anjali got but why didnt Anjali connect the events to the past even once? If she still has wounds that are yet to heal then how come nothing reminded her of the past when Shyaam stepped on glass shards😕

5. Noticed the pool is only 6 inches deep🤣

6. Liked the shot of Aakash giving flowers to Payal. Hope they give them scenes as well.

Sorry for this extremely thakela post...having a bad day at work. Sending stinkers left, right and centre...didnt even spare my boss😆

read it straight after i read priya's this morning. made me see that scene again in my head. barun was at some other level today. i kept thinking he'll trip up, but not even for a micro second did he go off. some calibre and some hard hard work. there's something so authentic and "indian" if i may say so in his projection of feelings. it's urbane, contemporary, often understated, but inalienably of our way our world.

your remembering what happened last anniversary and is happening now is poignant. life can be so cruel, yeah.
