Actually, I would for once love to see a female character on Indian TV who is an atheist or at least agnostic! Just saying..sounds like sacrilege!

Manal I disagree on this babes. I personally think he should remain the way he is. Being an atheist is one of his basic character traits and it would be unnatural if he begins to develop faith in god.

The thing which irked me in Khushi in that scene is that she tried to force him into believing in god and in a way ridiculed his attitude towards religion. When he doesn't believe in god then people should just leave him alone. There is nothing wrong in being an atheist. Everyone is different and has their own reasons for being the way they are. Belief is not something which can be forced upon someone. It should come from within. I say live and let live. So I personally would dislike such a sequence. Because it would just underline that Khushi is right regarding this topic but in my opinion she is clearly not.

No, I don't want this at all.
Why can't Arnav be someone who doesn't believe in any religion?
He changed so much already. If Arnav can believe in God, then I want Khushi as Atheist.
I don't think Arnav or Khushi should change so much that they loose their originality + they both like each other the way they are.

Actually, I don't want that! No miracles happen in real life! He doesn't have to change his whole belief system just because he fell in love! In fact, Khushi should respect his views! I a sorry to be so vocal..but I identify with that situation! My husband is agnstic! But, he never forced hs views on e and I respect that..and I don't expect him to change his views for me!

Exactly my mum is a a blinded worshipper of god if i may say, she fasts so many days that i hv lost count..

but she never forces my dad for anything, dad doesnt believe in it, but he doesnt stop her frm worshipping god coz thats her belief.
Everyone should be allowed to have their belief system. Why should he change so much just cause he is in love with kushi, hasnt he changed enough already?? .

And all people who hv faith in god are not supposedly good right???
There are many who make crimes and go worship god, where is the respect to god here then??

One's faith can be in devoting themselves to their loved one's and also to their work and Arnav has faith in those. I wud absolutely dis like if they even force him and turn him to believe in god

Why you want Arnav to change why can't kushi understand the principles of Arnav and become a atheist.

Manooo, the fact that their love transcends these boundaries of faith is what makes it unique. Being such a strong nonbeliever of God, Arnav still fell in love with Khushi, a girl whose life is centered on Devi Maiyaan. You loose the essence of their love story if you ask for a changed Arnav.

Don't want the inherent characteristics that build ASR to ever change. He is perfect just the way he is :)

Umm... is faith in God a necessary condition to complete a person, to make him worthy or better? I strongly disagree.

Arnav has learnt to value his partner's beliefs, why must he change his own belief system? He has already told Khushi that he loves her just the way she is. I am pretty sure Khushi has also said something along those lines at some point (I just can't remember). I think that is the ideal conclusion of this story, they are different but complementary, and have learnt to accept each other in whole.

I don't want that at alll! Maybe (a small maybe) for him agreeing to the fact destiny exists in certain situaions but he doesn't need to become a believer...that fact sets him apart from all the other characters out there

The scene you're talking about is moot at this point..she said that to him in a fit of anger saying she won't be in his life. Now the only thing that could bring Arnav to pray to a god is if khushi herself, if she gets really hurt, sick or something...but even then it wouldn't tie back to the mandir scene.
