Gadi chal padi. That's what I remembered when halfway through the epi Dadi comes in Arnav's room. Finally, all these dragging through rituals and wedding preparations are coming to the final stage and the story is starting. From the episode and all the pointers that came before, to me it looked like the wedding is not happening. As I said before, my personal reasoning with a lot of other things was I just do not want another repeat telecast. A sense of been there, done that. If they get married it is bound to happen. I'd rather see intense scenes where they so want to be together but just cannot due to circumstances.
Khushi is shown doing everything by herself. Buaji says that and also Nani acknowledges the fact. So looks like she is going to battle it out by herself and clear her Mother's name, as any child will do for his/ her mother.
Loved Arnav- Khushi's phone convo. Arnav like a true gentleman asks if after last night's LoveMaking/ Sex/ Kiss (You take your pick) she is OK. Barun was so good in this part. and his "See you soon"... HAI MEIN MAR GAYI ☺️ EEEKKK... THAT WAS MY FANGIRL MOMEMT. Errr sorry went all Caps in my over excitement. 😳 Now a serious moment, for all of us they did it. Even from Arnav's dialogue they did it. So what was Khushi's expression there? Any girl, specially someone like Khushi, the first time would be so precious. Where was the blushing, shy expression? Why did she look so bold? 😕
Was Barun wearing skinny blue jeans with that Oriental style kurta thingy? 🤔 I was happy though that he didn't wear the pagri. Just can't picture him in that. Although didn't picture him dancing with towel too. 😳 *Ok Trin time to move on...think Diwali Look, Arnav's "Hi", "Main janta hu"...life is good *
Now when Dadi is walking around with face like a blow fish, what's the reason for leaving her all alone with Arnav? Well it had to be done for final reveal I suppose. One thing struck me though. When Dadi was shown praying to DM and Nani comes to her, we are not shown DM even once. Maby its nothing, but I felt that it shows that she is wrong and she is not getting DM's blessing.
Loved Arnav's dialogue that he doesn't want to listen to that kind of truth that separates him from Khushi. I was going "Hai meri nadaan bhola bhala bachhu, I am feeling so sorry for you hun"... Dadi is so going to pull the MA card now. And she did. Dadi was a bit theatrical for me in that segment but Barun, God bless him, even though he looked oh so tired, he performed well. Can't wait for tomorrow.
This old lady is so focused to bring down Garima that in her obsession she is forgetting that she is hurting her grandson. She is so blinded that she cannot see that this truth will devastate Arnav.
Arnav's shoes... what's the significance? 🤔 I'll stick to my earlier theory and say that Shyamu pe joote padenge when the time comes.
Speaking of him, Where is Shyamu? Serving water and juice at the wedding venue? Why do I get a feeling that he has got a backup plan up his sleeve in case Dadi doesn't deliver?
