CUT IT !! This was the word that echoes in my mind after I was startled into realization that this Marriage track has been  meandering for about a month and half !!..I am not surprised by the fatigue that has set in among the viewer's but it does look like this too is going to pass that too very soon, Isn't it ??😊

Forgive me, for I Did not watch this episode very keenly and am left with impressions ...Let me share them with You ...

The first Impression pretty strong and growing one is that the marriage  is off at least for sometime .👍🏼The signs & the dialogues right from day one has been quite contradictory ...If Khushi started the Merry go round with Hum Intezaar Karenge, Arnav finished it with , I'll be  there ...If Arnav broke the vase , then Khushi completed the circle by   breaking the bangles...A set of bangles given by her Pati ...The circle of infinity, The circle which never knew the beginning or end now lies broken  clearly demarcating a beginning and an end ...


Many in Redux thread would know that  I have been against the marriage  from the start and I  still am .. When asked I have simply said that conflicts and tension will be greater and intense were they to remain unmarried , Their innate attraction , their helpless love rending their heart  whilst they grappel with the monsters of the past , fighting  a maelstrom of emotions    like a rudderless boat caught in a inky black ocean , fighting to stay afloat  would make for a absorbed viewing rather than getting married and for the " I hate You, Do U hear me, I hate You, Stuff !!" ..For  here then Arnav  and Khushi will be revisiting their calamitous  first marriage  and it again will again cast the characters as the Devil and the saint mode  whereas now  it should be two children fighting for the justice  for their Mother, two individuals who are  fighting for their rights, Lovers fighting for their love, Couple fighting for their dreams... ..But are these  the only reason  for my desire for cancellation of marriage...NO!!


NO!! My another desire for the cancellation is the issue of ' Baggage's ' ...We have our protagonists carrying a rather cumbersome baggage's which has rather  crippled them emotionally, stunted their growth and has left them incomplete ... We all have been acquainted with the baggage of Arnav, His fanatical love for his Mom , His obsessive hatred of his Dad, His fetish for control,His Mortal fear of commitment , His disdain of all rituals and customs . We have witnessed how Arnav combated all this demons under the gentle and compassionate love of Khushi Kumari Gupta ..Many of his demons slayed by one masterstroke of Khushi when she surrendered herself physically, emotionally, spiritually to him ..but there lies a larger beast, a malevolent beast , A beast ancient than all this  recent demons..It is the HATRED , Hatred towards the person  that goaded his mother towards her demise ...That Baggage remain unresolved !!

 

- I have to agree as much as I want the marriage to happen, Now I dun want it as well... Almost most of the serials is taking hate marriage route (I wonder is there nothing else to show anymore), in IPK we had it too so why again repeating...Seperation is what im looking for, I would say BRING IT ON CV...



But is Khushi devoid of any baggage ??  On the contrary her's is the biggest one !! The irony of it is for a girl who dispenses wisdom like a  vending machine, she has strictly put on the blinker's when it comes to her own emotional past , rather than face the crisis, she has always tended to brush it under the carpet ...Despite passionately Proclaiming  that Garima is her Amma and will always be her Amma, we  are also made  aware of her contradiction when she keeps her own Biological Mom and Dad closer to her for solace.The incongruity of it escapes her completely, she never pauses to examine why does she feel the need for having her parents closer to her if she has accepted Garima has her only Amma.


The next issue is that of indebtedness, A cross that she has worn right from childhood whether from insecurity  or whether she absorbed the vibe unconsciously we do not know yet ..but this indebtedness will play a role in future too, sometimes proving detrimental to the very union that she  was entering into ...


Any child would never stand around meekly while the woman who has brought her up is being reviled, castigated  as a characterless , without honor ...much less the fiery Khushi ..She will fight to stave off the stain, She will not brook any tattle on her Mom's dignity and I want her to fight  this battle as her Mother's Daughter and not as  Arnav Singh Raizada's Wife .

For this reason's alone I do not want any matrimony and would like to see them clearing all their baggage's before entering into wedlock to begin their life anew, afresh !!

Maasi !!  There has been a steady build up given to Maasi  from the previous episodes than  to the Motherly relationship  between Garima and Khushi ..quite an interesting repositioning especially if we are heading towards the part where  Garima supplants Ratna as the Mother !!😊


Quite a telling observation from Buaji when she says that Khushi has been overseeing her own wedding preparation all alone, Nani's admiration and commendation when she says that it is ur ability to fulfill the duties all alone, without anybody's support  indicates that Khushi's will be a lonely battle from here on , I definitely hope so ..This shud be the daughter's battle for her Mother's amour-propre .


Another interesting thing for me was when Buaji  ( Again ) says  that this marriage is so mixed up  where the lines between the Bride and Bridegroom's party has been blurred and all stand together.



Eklavya !!  A focused & driven Boy who  out of his sheer obstinate will learnt to be an archer, violating the norms of the times  but who had to pay the price of his stubborness by having to cut off his right thumb, The very thumb needed to grip the Arrow before discharging it ... How  Dadi reminded me of Eklavya y'day..The bubbling venom  finding its target, the mind focused and resolute as she decides to destroy the house that  had decimated her own home  or so she thinks..Little does she know that in destroying Khushi, She is cutting off her own right thumb  , Her Ghar ka chirag Arnav !!


Negative Pointer's ;

 Khushi saying that they are different kind of Bride /groom..

Payal  telling her not to wear the bangles given by Arnav although Khushi already has worn the Kangan's ...Time is not ripe for the union although she is connected to  Raizada's..May be !!

Arnav refusing to wear the Pagdi !!

The Boys preventing  Arnav and Khushi from communicating , erecting a wall ..

Anjali assuring Arnav that Khushi will come back to him * So does that mean that Khushi will walk away from him *

Arnav frankly stating that he will come  only after he has had his  cooing and gurgling with his beautiful wife to be ..

The impatience  of Khushi which soon transforms into million radiance as she finally gets to talk to her man.



Magpies or Magenpies usually do not carry a good reputation ,A single Magpie is considered to be  a Omen of bad fortune  ..Here we do see two single Magpies all dressed up, their life one series of misfortune  ...However as a redeeming feature, Magpies mate for life !!..Just the way our two magpies are united   and a United Magpie is said to bring joy , just like Arnav and Khushi will  bring it to us when they stand together facing the Ghosts and defeating them...

Magpies are  not beyond  raiding the nests of other birds in order to satiate its hunger , in the process killing the young ones and destroying the nests of other birds .. So is dadi, in her hunger for vengeance , she is willfully destroying another bird's nest and the young one's within.


NOTE TO CV's ;


I understand that the everyday shooting takes its toll and that u guys are pressured and face time constraint  ...But would it be too much to expect when we wish to see the leads or in this case The male lead to be well rested and fresh and in roaring form...BS was very tired esp his eyes were fatigued and he was functioning in half form ..It is to his credit that he   did not let down the scenes but the scenes which would have been elevated to another level did not reach the expected level... : 10q for pointing out this, even a confuse viewer like me felt that yes BS was looking tired... That scene would have been better off if he was in his full form...


 Khushi is a  middle class girl, one  for whom Sex would be a big deal esp when it is the first time..The lack of awkwardness or shyness  from Khushi when Conversation veered to the Lovemaking of last night was quite a strange sight to behold. : My Question Did consumation happen  And if it happens, where was reaction from khushi... its a big thing... so im wondering... N i dun feel u need to ask r u ok if u just kissed... ...



I admit that NK is quite a entertainment package but to have him enact Ehsan Querishi in each and every episode has become grating...Once was a novelty, more than that is excruciating torture, Please let him revert back to NK without the shadow of Ehsan querishi hovering over him. : Totally Agree on this part
