I've first seen in IPKKND very early episodes. My first impression was he is a very handsome, good-looking man, acting-wise ok, but his voice modulation has irritated me bit back then. Now I know, being such a lively, humerous, jovial, fun-loving to the point of almost nonsensical (love his and Akshay's hilariously nonsense interwiews), happy-go-lucky person, it was not easy for him to play the brooding, gloomy, angry, infuritaed, bi-polar, dysfunctional, dark character as ASR. He was just taking his time to adjust.

After these intial IPKKNDepisodes, I've caught up with his DMG parts where he was really good playing the negative character of Raj. Then I've caught up with Baat Hamari Pakki Hain. Barun was very looking very boyish there and the immature character of Shravan suited him to the T.

Now, I have noticed, over the time, he has imporved a lot, specially in the intense scenes, in his voice modulations. He has started emoting with eyes and uses his facial muscles a lot. He has matured a lot as an actor. Now he is one of my favurite actors in Indian tellywood.

its was in DMG and i ttly loved him from then...i think he was fab as a drug addict

i started watching ipk just becoz of sanaya..she looks like my favorite actress trisha..i dint liked him at first..then one day in sbs i saw an offscreen segment,sarun masti,that segment made me love barun..
i cudnt believe that barun was that much funny becoz of asr ..
then i watched all the offscreen segments from u tube..and i liked him..
and now like him most..

I first saw him IPKKND he was outstanding, then I checked out his other serials, and am glad I saw IPKKND first otherwise, I would have not become a Barun fan.

watched some episodes of BHPH felt that he is okay...cause i felt he looked baccha and the girl opposite to him looked like his momma...then saw him in IPKKND man he was no more a baccha but a handsome mature man, his stubble gives him a different look altogether...his style, his dress up both his business or casuals in IPKKND gave a different dimension to his personality...he is grown up as an actor as time have passed with IPKKND...he is a truly an actor par excellence and no other actor on tv have reached where he is today...LOVE you Barun Sobti...God bless you always and may all your dreams fulfill...I haven't been to a theatre to watch movie say from more than two years planning to go and watch his film... 😊
