Loved the Crooner Priya. Gorgoeusly beautiful and Funny, with killer and perfect quotes... a perfect ode to the episode. I could use the same adjectives for the episode.
This is what had drawn me to the Show...the freshness of treatment. The subtle teasing by the family, the completely crazy planning by Khushi, the attitude by ASR, the understanding and caring sister, the bromance, the romance; Gorgeous Chemistry, their Nok Jhok, them willing to compromise on their ego for their lovedones... Ohhh it was perfect.
Perfect Priya... I could have a done jig! But wait... One the biggest thing that had drawn me to the show was also the Story. Errr...whats happening to that.
if I was watching this episode as a standalone episode - I have absolutely no complains. I mean the content had me ignore the blips... because the content was perfect.
But I am not watching a standalon episode...it's not a Serial that I caught for one episode when I was flipping through channels.
Its show I love and follow no matter how inconvenienced I am. So I do look for continuity in Story.
Take for example the Anjali & ASR scene (BD included)... the scene where she notices, her brother's, her son's clenched fingers indicating his anger & Frustration. I would have thought it was a perfect sisterly understanding if I had not seen the same woman not worry about her brother and the emotional turmoil she put him through, not asked and advised him like she is doing now..about his decisions about her husband...he giggles and her attempt control her smiles at her Chotey's plight everything that I loved ... none of it worked Priya, because I cant relate to the story and her characterization anymore.
Here is Nani...somebody who I still love, has had consistent characterization than most in the show...who knows what Shyam is capable of & was not happy about his return... instead of treating Shyams return as the bitter pill she has to gulp, applauds Khushi as ideal Bahu???!!!! đ
It kills me Priya... i guess I have had a stressed out week...but when I saw the scene of the family & Anjali trying to hold her laughter in the hall...my eyes misted up! Because those were moments I LOVED in IPK...it wasn't only about Arnav & Khushi. But today...thanks to a story that has not been on track for such a long time...I feel NOTHING!!!!
A butchered character of Khushi who without consulting her Husband brings back the man who traumatized her, tried to kill her and her husband and Knows he is only after her Husband's wealth (said so herself to him earlier), is apolozing only for not taking his calls!!!!!!
Ok... Sorry about the rant Priya... I have tried to remain positive about everything that this show offers me. Maybe I have faltered like their script in the recent past... but I hope I will be soaring high soon just like the IPK story.
Like I said before..I did love episode. It was vintage IPK... I laughed & I swooned in the right places... and eyes became saucers at the precap ( I saw the SBB?SBS this morning only) and after 5 hours of sleep I feel better.
But I cant help but ask the team for fixing what needs to be fixed big time. 2.3 is a huge wakeup call. 2 episodes of cuteness is not going to fix it!!! It needs their heart & soul... just like millions of viewers are giving still everyday at 8!
I am not cribbing about Editing, because afterall that many BDs is any editors nightmare.
And all the above insight came only after the 2nd Watch Priya... 1st Time...I was fixated on Haircut!!! đ˛
