well said! they can't show a proper kiss between two people madly in love, but they can show a mad man murdering his own baby in an extremely cruel manner in order to increase the TRP or to accommodate a certain character.

I know, darling, it is all like emperor's new clothes.
How could we see/not see what the emperor was wearing or not wearing? Does it even matter?
And who cares as long as Arnav and Khushi stay put on the ferret wheel of romance. For that is not fiction, is it?
Just read a lot of reviews at this thread and braced myself for the worse to see today's episode which I missed. I was expecting something REALLY twisted with those glass pieces; wouldn't like to mention because that will disgust a lot of people. I wouldn't have been surprised if the CVs showed that given their LOVE for conflicts, depression and sadism. It is disgusting as it is. I am not surprised with what Shyam did to Anjali and his unborn kid. I never expected anything better from a guy who has the audacity and the insanity of burning a man alive! (He tried to do that to Arnav during the kidnapping track when the petrol got replaced by water.) I have seen second degree burns and they are PAINFUL! To die in that way is the worst possible death to anyone. With such horror in his mind, I never expected anything better of Shyam. But from CVs, I expected a little sense to NOT sensationalise Anjali's miscarriage this way.
My angst is
1. The slowww motion with which they handled the whole miscarriage scene to sensationalise it. It could have been done with her hurting and tripping and getting hurt; infact the use of glass was not needed; make her slip and spare us the horror of seeing her bleed for full 10 minutes!
2. From story point of view, why did Anjali had to once again step on the rug and go out to check on Shyam? Why hurt herself unnecessarily? I would have preferred Daadi get involved to save the creep to atleast spare me the horror of seeing her bleeding! Such BLIND devotion for your husband? I feel sorry for Anjali, the mother, but not for Anjali as an overall character in the show. The CVs have desensitised me enough to not feel anything for this lady. I don't like myself for turning less humane!
3. Wasn't romanticising pain through a grey character called Arnav Singh Raizada who was a brooding and complex person, enough? Why bring in pain of this magnitude now? Are we supposed to be ruled by the notion that Life can never be fair? Can't we spin a more hopeful story? Bloody CVs; have you been subjected to psychological abuse to write such story and have the audacity to bring it on air at prime time on national television? I think, you need to check into a rehab to see life as something sacred and beautiful where fate is not always waiting to give you pain of unimaginable magnitude! What were you thinking when you showed Anjali bleeding? Would she be remembered as a Nirupa Roy of Indian Telly? That formulae might have worked in the 1970s with it's OTT drama but 40 years hence, we don't want to see that anymore; there is enough blood bath in the world these days.
Reasons why watching IPK doesn't make sense to me now
1. It is grim and gloomy now with NO hope of it getting a little lighter and happier! The past is also dark and painful and I have no intentions of seeing a weakling being pitied by her family than being given strength!
2. Arnav would again start his Di-puraan. Obviously, it's a BIG mess out there but he might even get back to his ruthless self considering he didn't hold back Khushi's hand of support. A mad in pain Arnav followed by his ASRish outbursts at the wrong person, Khushi, and she acting as if the entire world is in pain because of her doesn't seem to promise any tender bonding between them that such tough times usually bring between people. I don't want them to destroy their bond, whatever is left of it.
Honestly, I loved the 'sangeet'; yes CVs wrapped that up in a few minutes. I loved the happiness around in that sequence and that is why I cringed all the more to see a parallel sequence of Anjali getting hurt making my heart jump. Why CVs why????? Why can't you be happy in your minds and life to atleast let some happy moments been shown in your show?!It's no longer a love story; not even Didi ki saut. Its just a SAD drama of ill fate making its permanent seal on the lives of people who have never seen happiness and if by God's grace they happen to see it; the CVs won't let them!!
I don't want to watch it anymore because it's not entertainment. It's not healthy for the fact that off late this show had made me feel less compassionate about people. I don't feel much for any of the characters; losing my loving side is SO NOT WORTH for anything! I can't ruin my human values for a bunch of twisted minds called CVs. For this reason, I precisely avoid the news because media feeds us more sad stories and negativity. After a point, the mind accepts apathy as a defence mechanism to safeguard oneself and that has been the biggest bane of our World right now! All such things rile me up and I don't want anymore reason to disturb myself. I know all that exists but atleast for once I want un-reality (fiction) to be happy and hopeful than the reality.
