My dedication to the CV's tonight. It breaks my heart to dedicate this wonderful song to the Cvs but it is pretty apt in the present scenario. Adieu IPK. It was good as long as it lasted.
Goodnight lovely ladies- Annie, Sudha, Swathi, Hiru, Asha, and everybody else. See you sometime.

Madonna, Madonna! You are truly a Diva! I searched for the original video but couldn't find. Her songs are not only soul stirring but also have beautiful videos.

I agree what happened was pure evil. It was messed up and heinous, but are we really that surprised by it?
How many times did Snake face try and kill Anjali before she was even pregnant? Four? Five?
So did some of you really believe just because she had the misfortune of getting pregnant by him his feelings were going to suddenly change? If anything it made him want her gone all the more since in his deluded mind he and Khushi couldn't be together if a child was involved.
This is the same man who told Arnav, right before he was going to be kidnapped, that he basically didn't give a DAMN about Anjali and she was an obstacle preventing him from being with Khushi.
It just pisses me off Arnav never told Anjlali that truth, no matter how painful it would have been for her to hear.
I'm also tired of Shyam doing all this evil stuff and never getting caught by more than one person and made to suffer for his actions.
You would also think Anjali would realize her unworthy hubby was behind all of this since he was the one to get her to come up to her room, but knowing her she won't make the connection.
[/QUOTE

i really can't comprehend why arnav is not coming out with the whole truth. considering how close he is with his sister, he didn't think it was important to have one on one with her and tell her everything about shyam. shyam can't be shown to get away with his evil tricks every t ime just because he won the best villain award! khushi and arnav have won countless best jodi awards, but they are being sidelined. don't understand why they couldn't focus on one track and then shyam's entry could have been made after the marriage...ughhh

I know, darling, it is all like emperor's new clothes.
How could we see/not see what the emperor was wearing or not wearing? Does it even matter?

And who cares as long as Arnav and Khushi stay put on the ferret wheel of romance. For that is not fiction, is it?

Of course the romance is fiction! don't think I ever suggested otherwise
have not liked a lot of tracks.. or characters or characterizations, but I just either ff those scenes, or skip those episodes.. at the end of the day this is my escapism. I watch it if it distracts me or entertains me. If not, skip it Such is the power of the remote/ff button. Personally, don't think it is worth getting that worked up over. but to each his own

all I guess I was trying to say was to sort of have an emotional distance
we watch this serial today, tomorrow it is another, there have been other prior
peace..anyway.. in these serials good always wins in the end
not always the case in the real world. So would rather focus my energies on where I can actually make a change and where it would matter

Hello my lovies🤗
How are we today?so finally the cushion is gone and myrtle will be back in her see through saree...
I am such a non pro choice person and believe that every child whether by choice or not is sacred and has right to be born and to make mockery out of it is unforgivable. What I saw today I feel no ounce of sympathy for myrtle.
This is the woman who thought about the very child randomly, and suddenly everyone says she was excited to have the baby???Harvard needs to talk about the botched abortion attempt.
Why would you go in the room that you were hurt? and honestly the first thing even a mad in love will do if they genuinly love their child is sit down, go near the lights and then call for help. CHILD COMES FIRST!!!!!!!!!!!
Sorry but I do not have any sympathy for myrtle...she killed her own child in my opinion...

Just read a lot of reviews at this thread and braced myself for the worse to see today's episode which I missed. I was expecting something REALLY twisted with those glass pieces; wouldn't like to mention because that will disgust a lot of people. I wouldn't have been surprised if the CVs showed that given their LOVE for conflicts, depression and sadism. It is disgusting as it is. I am not surprised with what Shyam did to Anjali and his unborn kid. I never expected anything better from a guy who has the audacity and the insanity of burning a man alive! (He tried to do that to Arnav during the kidnapping track when the petrol got replaced by water.) I have seen second degree burns and they are PAINFUL! To die in that way is the worst possible death to anyone. With such horror in his mind, I never expected anything better of Shyam. But from CVs, I expected a little sense to NOT sensationalise Anjali's miscarriage this way.

My angst is

1. The slowww motion with which they handled the whole miscarriage scene to sensationalise it. It could have been done with her hurting and tripping and getting hurt; infact the use of glass was not needed; make her slip and spare us the horror of seeing her bleed for full 10 minutes!

2. From story point of view, why did Anjali had to once again step on the rug and go out to check on Shyam? Why hurt herself unnecessarily? I would have preferred Daadi get involved to save the creep to atleast spare me the horror of seeing her bleeding! Such BLIND devotion for your husband? I feel sorry for Anjali, the mother, but not for Anjali as an overall character in the show. The CVs have desensitised me enough to not feel anything for this lady. I don't like myself for turning less humane!

3. Wasn't romanticising pain through a grey character called Arnav Singh Raizada who was a brooding and complex person, enough? Why bring in pain of this magnitude now? Are we supposed to be ruled by the notion that Life can never be fair? Can't we spin a more hopeful story? Bloody CVs; have you been subjected to psychological abuse to write such story and have the audacity to bring it on air at prime time on national television? I think, you need to check into a rehab to see life as something sacred and beautiful where fate is not always waiting to give you pain of unimaginable magnitude! What were you thinking when you showed Anjali bleeding? Would she be remembered as a Nirupa Roy of Indian Telly? That formulae might have worked in the 1970s with it's OTT drama but 40 years hence, we don't want to see that anymore; there is enough blood bath in the world these days.

Reasons why watching IPK doesn't make sense to me now

1. It is grim and gloomy now with NO hope of it getting a little lighter and happier! The past is also dark and painful and I have no intentions of seeing a weakling being pitied by her family than being given strength!

2. Arnav would again start his Di-puraan. Obviously, it's a BIG mess out there but he might even get back to his ruthless self considering he didn't hold back Khushi's hand of support. A mad in pain Arnav followed by his ASRish outbursts at the wrong person, Khushi, and she acting as if the entire world is in pain because of her doesn't seem to promise any tender bonding between them that such tough times usually bring between people. I don't want them to destroy their bond, whatever is left of it.

Honestly, I loved the 'sangeet'; yes CVs wrapped that up in a few minutes. I loved the happiness around in that sequence and that is why I cringed all the more to see a parallel sequence of Anjali getting hurt making my heart jump. Why CVs why????? Why can't you be happy in your minds and life to atleast let some happy moments been shown in your show?!It's no longer a love story; not even Didi ki saut. Its just a SAD drama of ill fate making its permanent seal on the lives of people who have never seen happiness and if by God's grace they happen to see it; the CVs won't let them!!

I don't want to watch it anymore because it's not entertainment. It's not healthy for the fact that off late this show had made me feel less compassionate about people. I don't feel much for any of the characters; losing my loving side is SO NOT WORTH for anything! I can't ruin my human values for a bunch of twisted minds called CVs. For this reason, I precisely avoid the news because media feeds us more sad stories and negativity. After a point, the mind accepts apathy as a defence mechanism to safeguard oneself and that has been the biggest bane of our World right now! All such things rile me up and I don't want anymore reason to disturb myself. I know all that exists but atleast for once I want un-reality (fiction) to be happy and hopeful than the reality.

Thank you for this and I agree and I am going to join you👏👏
To kill even a fake baby is revolting in my view...a child is sacred...
Gosh if you love your husband then GO with him, no one can stop legally or otherwise..no one...then why is she so stupid???and to top it off people says she loved the kid???tell me honestly how many times she thought about the same child???
As you said this is not worth it...they have butchered the show beyond redemption, I am out...
