Alright I have my frustrations with the show too, but I love it and will keep watching it till they stop airing it and not a moment sooner.
A few thoughts:
1. The writing has gotten better this past week! We have to admit that, its getting back on track to its original wit and drama.
2. Yes the Anjali track is mind boggling because one can't understand why she would be such a fool for Shyam. BUT I would really really really like to see her be the bigger person and a great older sister here and tell Arnav " Yes a terrible thing just happened to me, BUT I still want you to get married. It doesn't have to be a huge affair, but I want you to marry this girl who you clearly love. I'm your older sister and I want this for you."
The opportunity is there. And rather than go back to the same gisa-pita now Arnav will get mad and be mean to Khushi because something bad happened to him/his sister. I would really like to see Anjali and him rise to the occasion and show growth in their characters. Come on writers :)
3. Now keeping this twist in mind, it makes sense why they were rushing some of the rituals of the wedding a little bit. It doesn't make sense to focus on them if we're going to have a twist before the actual wedding.
4. This is an interesting turn of events let's see where the writers take it from here.
I know we have high expectation from this show but remember that's because the PH, CVs and writers have created such a fantastic show. Let's show a little bit more faith in them and see where they take us. And even with all the random plots twists we have to give them that the cute little romantic scenes between Arnav and Khushi have been adorable :)
Instead of getting frustrated or bashing a show I love. I'm just going to say let's get excited for the journey that's to come and hope for the best.
