I was thinking about writing a post about this. I came to the forum and found enough people that are saying what I wanted to say!

She negotiated a "career ending" deal. No one will ever like looking at her face on any channel ever again! This is the end! I for one find her repulsive!

It seems that sometimes a threat can work wonders!!! It did for our Daljeet!!!😆 She ended up having her own "lub istory" & more screen space. Wonder if Sanaya & Barun should also follow the enlightened path of the "Great One" & throw around a few threats & demands of their own. Then we'll definitely end up with more Arshi scenes, as no way in hell will the CVs ever think of letting our leads walk out. I'm sure none of them have a death wish🤣

If your argument is that she was unaware of the story line, I can only assume that she is not all that smart in real life either because nobody re-negotiates "contracts" w/o understanding what they are getting into.

I am sorry, but I have no sympathy for her. Ehat she has effectively done is to shoot herself in the foot and ensured viewers will be wary of any future rolesshe plays!

She herself said in an interview that the storyline ahead is going to be fun and exciting( MY FOOT) and the viewers have to give Anjali BENEFIT OF DOUBT .Now she said this before the track started so we can safely assume that she knew about this track. IPK is forever ruined because of her selfish reasons and CVs blunder.
I am sure if this goes on she is going to ruin her fanbase ( whatever is left ) very soon.

Trina, don't they all say the same thing? Future track is going to be exciting blah blah

Look i'm not saying that what Anjali is doing is RIGHT, no i'm not. The track was handled very badly by the cv's and the current track is messed because too much is going at the same time and things are rushed.

Thanks for the post - I think this must be a record for a sweet, understanding and loving character to be turned into an annoying to the point of dangerous (for her, her baby and Arnav) addiction...Feel bad for poor Arnav & nani who keep thinking she is getting better and slowly coming out of it - what a rude shock awaits them!

Anjali's character has really gone down very badly with most of us - and it certainly does not help that we came to know that Daljeet negotiated her role with the production people...this is one case where quantity has over-ruled quality - fewer Anjali scenes, or at least if they showed her in more sympathetic light, would have got her audience support - right now Anjali is coming across as annoying and definitely feel no understanding for her at all.

Whatever the negotiation Daljeet had, what comes across is the total character assassination of Anjali. Don't know how much of it is Cvs work and how much was because of Daljeet pressurising...

I guess she wanted more screen space; this is evident because nowadays she's getting maximum screen space more than the leads and other characters…But what I don't understand is why it took a whole year for her to realise that she wanted more from her role. 😕
