Well said! I too was under the impression that the sindoor and mangalsutra was scared so I was confused why suddenly everyone got so hyped and made it seem insignificant!

Right now I must be honest and tell you that I program the show to tape on my PVR and watch it on a fast forward to only watch what I want! That's usually Barun and Sanaya!

I dono its more like SP has said its been long we have had functions in your show and now we need a shadi.. Its beyond yawn worthy these days.

For me its always ASR characater which has been consistent in this show, even when all these things happened i was really happy that he said mein apni patni se phir se shadi karoonga, kind of like he atleast maintained his stance and kept telling everyone she is my wife. I dono where this is heading and im just nt enjoying the show. I hv given up. 🥱

would nt even like to talk about other character's..

The PH and SP are nt getting it i believe this show was unique, the couple are unique, all said and done no one can ever replace the bandage engagement they had, the haldi they had in payash engagement, their marriage or be it anything they have always been unique, even the teej. Those are the moments which will still be cherished, they are rather ruining old memories by creating shoddy new ones

I to don't understand why no one apart from ASR recognises them as being married...was it because a priest did not conduct their wedding????

Anjali is getting on my last nerve with her i'm so helpless act and blatantly lying to the whole family not just ASR...how gullible can one woman be???? and if she wants Shyam so bad go and live with him in your own house (which was ready ages ago).

I don't understand why Nani is allowing Dadi to rule the family???...Nani has never been shy to voice her opinion before (remember Layana ).

I wanted ASR to remarry Khushi cos that is what would make her happy not because Dadi is trying to throw khushi out 😡

Before I say anything, let me say, yours is one of the posts in this (so called??) Forum that I appreciate. You always have something substantial to say. And yes, that's why your posts get closed.

I read your post(53 and..) and although according to you, I would be just a baby, I wanted to comment, but life happened and I thought I would do it when I next get time, but couldn't find it, and now I know why!! I have discovered since joining this Forum (if I can call it that - a better name would be Barun Adulation Club - ) that anything that does not amount to Barun worshipping is non-deserving, and that includes Sanaya!! Who is a far better actor, AND the other half of IPKKND! And don't get me wrong, I think Barun is just as much eye candy as Sanaya, as, Justin Bieber, as...but really, what's that got to do with the story line as I keep harping on it!

Anyway, that's another story or post!

What I wanted to say is I agree with you that this show has changed and it's not the same as before. And although I am young, I do understand a good story when I see one. Like you, I am not Indian, I do not speak or understand Hindi (although beginning to learn a few words now, thanks to IPKKND) but when I watched IPKKND the first time, I wanted to watch more. So I started to watch previous epis. which seemed to change after the wedding. Recently, after joining the IF I found out why. I have the same frustration as many, that this story has been destroyed. It was supposed to be a journey of two lost souls who fate brings together to find eternal love. Now that sounds so beautiful. But, now everything has changed. And everything you have said in this post, too is true. I am really fed up with the way this story has evolved (or has it??) and am so frustrated that I am thinking of stopping to watch this show. It's ONLY SaRun and especially the phenomenal Sanaya, that is making me stay. But I don't know how long I will last! Nevertheless, I wanted to say thank-you to you for your posts.

BTW, I made a few posts (not Barun adulation) and they got closed, too. And one, (Is India ready for this discussing the contract marriage and live-in relationships) NEVER even got to see the light of day! But I did get a curt reply from the Forum honcho that a contract marriage is legal in India, not that that was what I was asking!)

Maya di, Kushi's character signifies purity of soul, so she will become impure by getting it on with Chote. For me Kushi is like the Virgin lotus flower, pure, beautiful and not to be touched.

Thanks for the vote of confidence! I generally do not like to make new posts because I am afraid that I will offend based on cultural differences. Generally I just respond to folks whose posts I follow but of late I have some time on my hands whilst I am recovering from an illness. So every now and then I throw my hat in the ring!

critism doesnt always mean bashing ...in fact healthy criticsm is as essential as praising somethng ...like one do with ones child ... i liked ur post ... though i have my own point of view at some points at the wedding thng i feel the same ... i dont know if he Cvs have brought this grand weddding thng just for TRPs ...but instead if they had shown Arnie regretful for what he did and then accepting that in fornt of his family and even for the sake of khushi's khushi had agreed to fulfill all the rituals ..that would have made more sense than this stopwa humiliating khuhsi and khushi k sanskar ... the moment arnie announced his remarriage ..dadi's expressions were clear for me that she just want khushi out of RM (where dadi herself is a selfimposed guest) and for the time being she s gone quite ...to wait and watch and then attack ... ASR's character has been reduced to woo khushi (which i dont mind) or slap shyam and throw him out ...i wanna c that old ASR back who was a manipulator of the situation ...when he comes to knw of his di's betryal then let him b heart broken for sometime but then he shud get up to craete a situation where shyam will accept his own crimes himself ...i would love to c ASR in control of the whole situation ... hate to c shyam outsmarting tha mighty ASR .. well in replying to yr post i m going off the track i guess ... i ll stop here ...👍🏼

The rules and regulations of this forum are not conducive for normal discussions. Here threads about Barun will get 11000 replies and can go upto 1500 pages, but a well though out discussion, debate will be snickered about.

So, like others have said, it would have been better, if they revamped the rules and said,

1 : Parise ASR no matter what he does

2 : Faint and Go To Heaven, when ever ASR changes to Arnav

3 : Drool over Barun's looks

4 : Worship every inch of his body from his fingernails to his butt.

5 : Abuse Shyam and call him the most disgusting names you can.

6 : Talk about Kushi the silly goose, but not the brave soul.

Those should have been the rules and I would have happily obliged.

Your post that got closed, was very beautiful and inspirational.

This post is also amazing and I agree with you completely.

I have rewatched many episodes from last year through february of this year. All I can say is, if June 2011 to Feb -2012 was akin to watching, Sholay and March 2012 - to Now is akin to watching Ram Gopal Varma Ki aag. There is no comparision.

I wanted re-marriage. But a re-marriage because ASR wanted to do those for Kushi. Because ASR remembered the scenes of Kushi talking and teaching the importance of marriage to La. Because he remembered, how Kushi convereted La and also made all his family accept a non traditional La as a traditional future DIL. Because he remembered how Kushi described what her dreams were of her wedding during her friend (Preethi?) marriage.

Not because some idiot Dadi demanded it or because of any other reason.

But, Gul and the CVs cannot give that much respect or thought towards Kushi. Her dreams, wishes, desires are never fulfilled. She is treated as a bystander who happens to get the benefits of the fights Dadi and ASR are having, but not because ASR really thinks, she deserves them.

Before I rant anymore, I will shutup as I tend to write very short posts. :-)

Good post as always, Frankly, nowadays u really don't know what to expect from ipkknd. But am still watching coz of Barun & Sanaya acting & chemistry, or else i would have quit long time. When u drag something , the essence just dies away. too many confusing plots are giving me head-ache. The dumb character of anjali is getting on my nerves, hypocrisy of dadi at its peak and whenever i see shyam on screen , i want to bang my head , God he is so evil. The only thing here is am still addicted to this show and really wish they pick up with the story, not ruin it fully. As for the marriage, i don't know what the fuss they are making out of it or better say the remarriage.
