Lets get real:

Constructive critisim of Barun/Arnav IS bashing

Constructive of criticism of others is just that: a sustained and methodical way in which other actors heed advice and characters can be improved upon.

Barun needs to stop mumbling and improve his diction- BASHING

Daljeet is not a professional, as she doesnt wear a bump- Constructive criticism

Arnav's sorry left much to be desired and was rushed- BASHING

Anjali is annoying and selfish sister- Constructive criticism.

get my drift here?

The problem is that the very forum is biased and is considered Sobti's shrine.

But others need to understand, not everyone floats in the same boat. People have opinions- read them and TRY to understand them and keep the communication lines open for dialogue and interaction.

Otherwise whats the point of having a forum and active one at that?

I wish I had caught this earlier, but better late than never, right? (There were a lot of really good points made here. 😊)

First off, forum lingo in general is a battle in and of itself. There's no justifying a lot of the terminology we see and use here on a regular basis. Unfortunately, tact and decorum don't really seem to have a place here; it's like a free-for-all. 😳 Granted, 'criticism' carries a negative connotation, but that doesn't mean it's invaluable or "bashing." By virtue of being a public forum, IF ensures that you come across various viewpoints.

The main problem, though, is one of ignorance and just plain intolerance for views different from your own. This forum is very reactionary. How else can we explain 6000+ pages? Yes, it is hard to read comments that seem overly negative, especially if you absolutely adored the episode. But, that's where perspective comes in. By allowing yourself to move beyond that initial feeling of discontent over being taken out of your sapnon ki duniya, you learn to appreciate that maybe you did miss something. At the very least, it can help ground you and remind you that this is after all just a TV show and that we all have real lives that need living.

If nothing else, you can always just ignore and remember 'to each their own.' I don't encourage ignorance, not by any means, which is why I would hope that people could at least respect the tenet of freedom of speech -- and that goes both ways.

Posting in this forum is more stressful than fun, cos if you're not an obsessed fan you have a MOD sword hanging on your post.

Criticism is not allowed you say? Humor isn't allowed either..

And just because I am not an obsessed fan I can't wish the guy happy birthday in my own way?

I like him and I appreciate his acting when it's good, but this is ridiculous to a point that I cannot even laugh at it.

So MentalExotica is on a hiatus till she obsesses over actors and then comes back to post.

the post got shut down and you can read the MOD note, also if you browse through the pages everyone's laughing and having fun, there are no fights at all.

So basically they have a fun-o-meter and a sarcasm-o-meter too now!

This is just so unfair.

Maybe all of us now need to use sarcasm in riddles .

Those ridiculous posts never get reported.

Thank god we have Bhatiya, SJ and you to even make that post fun.

Why is there no action against these publicity seekers.

They are treated like Royalty in this forum.

If tomorrow I started talking winds, sunshine, water in riddles then maybe I will also have my own shrine in this forum.
