Anjali is also a selfish hypocrite, who is pretending to be happy for Arnav and Khushi now, when a few weeks ago, she was not even able to handle seeing them together! HOW she thinks this is all a "Misunderstanding" is beyond me! SHE herself knows that Khushi had a man called Shyam in her life! Her OTHER sister in law claimed that THAT Shyam and HER Shyam are the same? So SHE is lying too? (she even said, "please call Buaji right now, and ASK her if he didnt live in our house pretending to be a bachelor"??)!!! WHY would she pluck such a story out of thin air?? Does that seem PLAUSIBLE?? NK and also Mami told her that Shyam was plotting against Arnav and also plotting to divorce her? ALL that is ALSO a misunderstanding? How MANY misunderstanding are there about ONE man?? It is a JOKE for the CV's to expect us to BELEIVE that Anjali is THIS stupid that she has not connected ANY of the dots RE what she has heard about Shyam! She just WANTS to beleive him and is FORCING him down the throats of people who KNOW what he is, and dont want a bar of him! She is just a weak and self-centered women! She NEVER let Arnav explain to her as to WHY he concluded that Shyam was wrong! She always "Blocked" him when he tried to explain!Therefore, after TOLERATING her and Snake and Dadi drama for 3 days, I am at the end of my tether! What sympathy I DID have for her is out the door! I am tired of the way she is USING Arnav and his love, trust and MONEY! She DESERVES NON of it!

Don't think it's Naniji's house. It is Arnav's house. Didn't he start to earn at a very young age and build his empire. Naniji is the eldest in the house and gets due respect. But from what I understand, It's Arnav's house and everyone there have been living off him, except Akash who works in Arnav' s company. That's kind of why he commands so much respect in that house.

Anjalis character has been presented as a very very inconsistent and annoying character...but GH is no Jane Austen...heck he is not even the guy/ gal who is writing Balika Vadhu...I saw that serial one or two times...and I think the writing was much better... Knew why the characters were behaving the way they were...no doubt or confusion about their motives...IPKKND unfortunately...does not have the director or the writer who can pull off a complex story and make it believable...changing tracks don help them either

Regarding...Anjali moving out etc...I was thinking along the same line and then I struck me...that they ALL LIVE in nanijis house...SO BY THE TRADITIONAL RULES...IT SHOULD BE AKASH'S HOUSE and both Anjal and Anav...should really have no claim to it...WOULDN'T THAT BE THE TRADITIONAL THING TO DO? 😉

Hats off to you...it is very difficult defending a character like Anjali right now but you made excellent points. I know there is a reason behind her madness...somewhere, you can try to justify her actions because of all that she has been through. However, the biggest problem is that I don't feel Anjali is being portrayed properly. Most of us can't bring ourselves to feel sorry for her, no matter how hard we try...don't you think that's a problem, when scenes are written specifically to get us to feel sorry for her yet we feel nothing?

I actually don't want to see a rift between Arnav and Anjali because that would mean the focus of the show will shift onto that sibling relationship. I don't want to see more of that. This is a time they should be focusing on ArHi as they recently confessed and are about to be remairried. The CVs should be spending time coming up with a well-written love track for them. Instead, we are getting a mixture of multiple half-baked tracks because they want to give everyone importance...whats getting lost is the fact that the entire show is suffering due to this. Last I checked, ArHi are the leads...you don't have to be a fangirl to demand to see more of them...its only natural.

I don't have anything against side characters, I know they are needed to run a show. However, they should be on the SIDE, supporting the leads and main story...they shouldn't becomethestory. Why do I feel like the show is all about Anjali meeting her husband behind everyone's back right now? ArHi's remarriage feels like an after-thought, at least that is how the CVs are treating it.

I will also add that Anjali as a character is just not working. She is not interesting enough to hold the viewers attention...nor is she interesting enough to be a parallel lead. I get bored every time she comes on screen. I know you wouldn't see anyone complaining if NK got as much screen time as her. So its not like we'reagainstside characters, she's just not one we are interested in seeing more of. I used to appreciate DB's acting in the past but it has gotten very tiring and repetitive these days...that's what happens when you force a supporting actor to shoulder the screen time of a lead actor, its not that easy. You need screen presence and charisma to be a lead, neither of which I'm seeing in her right now, unfortunately.
